And can you believe it? Some mothers – even the ones who are sitting around at home without any other responsibilities – still don’t take the time and energy to nurse their children. They just shove bottles in their mouths and give them formula with god-knows-what in it. It keeps them alive, yes. But it is no replacement for mother’s milk. It’s one thing if you’re working or have lots of household responsibilities, but these days these mothers aren’t even willing to sacrifice a little time and energy to nurse. What horrible parents!

your right. and i agree. whats your point? did i say your a horrible parent, and did i say that i was differentiating myself for what was said to shaista. it was a point made on a show and i agreed to all of it. they say breastfeeding until 6months is a must, did i say that they were wrong in syaing that just because i dont. and how can you compare to a baby being breast fed day and night and still not it being enough and WITH THE RECOMMENDATION FROM THE MIDWIFE was told to top with formula…and stick to it…theres a difference to just shoving them in the next room. wheres the comparison, you talk as if WHOEVER bottlefeeds doesnt try to breast feed first. im talking of parents who SHOVE NEWBORNS in the next room, whats the need? apart from some sexy time for the parents…
