Pardon me but I never mentioned any four year old having a hard time sleeping in a separate room. Your response was for something else that I posted & actually did not relate in any way to what I wrote.

Also I don’t know if you notice what you posted. The article that you are referring to makes it pretty clear that although the child slept in a separate room, the fact that he was sick & sleeping in with his parents he survived. What does that sum up to. Earlier in the thread I mentioned my own daughter who had an infection & was sleeping with us. We recently moved her back to her own room. Its been tough on us since now she now has to fall asleep in our arms or our bed & then we put her in her room.

That means that wherever a child is sleeping does not matter as long as your parental instincts are working fine & always.

As Sahar mentioned monitors are sensitive enough that you can even hear your child breathing.
