No one should be ‘allowed’ to misbehave with anyone.

But:

If elders in family misbehave, then reaction from younger people should not be harsh or disrespectful at all.

Being quiet, humble, avoiding conflict, staying respectful and caring for elderly should be the right thing to do…at all cost.

^She didn’t say they are respected because they are on a fixed income or that all elderly persons are on a fixed income. She said that they are often given discounts for this reason.

Even the discounts are given because of their respect based on their age.

All they have to show is their ID, not their bank balance or source of income… while buying tickets.
