I read the exorcist when I was a teen. I would follow my mother around the house like a puppy with my nose stuck in the book. My evil mom, one time she got annoyed at me following on her heels so she turned around and yelled "BOO!!". I screamed at the top of my lungs, the book went flying, I fell on my arse and almost had a heart attack lol!
LOL awww! my brother even though he's 23 has a habbit of doing that to me, i hate it!!
I haven't personally experienced paranormal activity unless you count the stuff about seeing things from the corner of your eyes. People I know supposedly have seen or heard or felt stuff.
Horror movies make me laugh, why is that that the most pretty dumb character will have the brains to survive in all those horror movies, yet brainiest are always among the 1st to die.
No back to the topic, nah I never had any paranormal encounter, except meeting with some politicians (if that merits for meeting with demons).
^haha..awww. well you're married, aren't you? atleast you sleep next to your husband, that should help you from getting too scared. i have a hard time sleeping everytime i watch the "Exorcist". that movie gets me EVERY time..
My younger brother was watching this movie once and I walked past ....... watched this scene where the priest was sitting next to the possessed girl ..... all those screams and horror noises ....... I could only watch it for like 10-15 seconds and I walked out of the room ........... My brother was laughing hard at me for being scared.

dudeeeeeeeeeeeeee
you don't say that. They out there listening.
Me and little brother saw paranormal activity together. So it was real. I wasn't hallucinating.
There is some thing there. For sure.
I hate scary movies - I just don't watch them, unless they're halloween movies made by Disney for the 11-15 year old viewing group.
I did have an experience when I was younger. 5th grade. We had just moved to a new home. I woke up in the middle of the night and the room was lit up red. There was this devil-monkey thing up in the corner of the ceiling beating a drum, and I think there were other beings in the room. I only focused on the monkey. Then dived under my covers shaking for a good hour before I had the courage to look again. When I did, the room was normal.
Me and little brother use to sleep on roof top. So we will be fresh in the morning to do work out and stuff.
Its a long story..
well let me tell it any ways.
We had 3 story house. on middle leave there were bedrooms but it would stay empty 24/7. We use to secretly watch dish-antenna in a room in middle floor. Wasn't allowed by father.
Before that very incident there was a strange environment of fear in that middle floor. Once my cousin was over and he was watching dish. And he heard loud tremor coming from a huge metal structure.
That metal structure was like tons in weight and it was cover a part of middle floor. no human could shock it.
My brother had his computer in the middle floor too. I use to go there and use Internet. Internet was new in pak. U know what.. I use to get scared with out a reason in those days.
Now the real thing.
Me and brother were spelling on the roof top. First I woke up. what made me wake up was stones dropping on one of our canopy rolling down and falling on the roof.
Then brother woke up too. It was full moon night. We saw stones coming from no where and falling/roiling on the canopy and falling.
Curious I was, I mad sure it was what It looked like. I went under canopy looked around all side. Made sure about the direction where there were coming from. No one was there. And stones kept coming.
We looked at each other. And we knew that was it!! that was some thing we heard ppl talking and we never believed.
We went down stairs to sleep since that day no one slept on the roof top.
HAHAHA mamaof3, loved your exorcist story. Yeah that movie creeps me out. I've never experienced paranormal activity but have experienced the following which really creeped me out:
1) Sleep paralysis, 3 times now. First time it FREAKED me out because I didn't know what was happening. When you sleep, the brain releases something that partially paralyzes your body so that you don't act out your dreams. People who sleep walk have a disorder where the body does NOT get paralyzed as designed. In sleep paralysis what happens is that your brain wakes up but your body is still paralyzed and takes about 30-45 seconds to catch up. During that short time you feel like you are under a spell, you can't move a muscle or even say anything. Because you've just woken up, your mind is still groggy and so you start hallucinating. Typically people claim to see witches/demons/ghosts sitting on their chests and thus they can't move. I have to say, this is a VERY scary phenomenon. The second and third time it happened to me, I KNEW what was going on so a lot better, but still creepy.
2) Sometimes, late at night, I'll be sitting there and both our cats will start 'following' something that I can't see and they'll both look in the same spot and start sniffing audibly and act like they can sense something and I can't see squat, THAT is really creepy, like can they sense a being that I can't, FREAKY!

Have seen Paranormal Activity... meh, nothing special. Didn't find it all that scary - there were just a handful of parts that were a tad "spooky", but nothing too terrifying.
