I guess one should have a balance between over confidence and under confidence. If you think you know it all then upon not getting desired result it can trigger the panic attack and same goes with not knowing much.
I guess for me the thought of “what if” triggers the panic attack. It takes me couple to few hours to make myself realize that I did what I could and I will not let it flow down the drain easily. I offer 2 rakats prayers and it pretty much calms me down.

I rather avoid taking unnecessarily medication unless I have to. If I know I can control my panic then I try to work on it. Giving medicine out for such symptoms should be avoided. Its even more fun and challenging to control on your own with your own motivation :k:
In my case, I get hyperventilation. I breath heavily - like asthma attack. So, I shouldn’t really take beta blockers for it
