Question here is how can one be accused when not entire set of evidence is shared / discussed with the accused and accused doesnt know whats in the evidence. They are contesting authenticity of documents as the start since that become basis for whether the documents are admissible or not during the Trial. The next stage is to question the authenticity of content., to do that during Trial, the JIT members will be cross examines and they will be quizzed to bring content authenticity in to question and objectionable. Law is a beautiful process that is slow. Showing your cards early is worse. I have no doubt in my mind that there is a very long legal battle ahead on each and every word of JIT, its members, their composition, connection to Flats and most important what exactly is the CRIME here ? Is it Tax evasion or is it Public money corruption.

PMLN lawyers are not contesting the authenticity. Rather, questioning on technicalities. Like, they dont deny that Nawaz held an iqama from UAE. But they are questioning whether JIT received it through legal means or not. Same goes for other documents. And that according to them, MLA requests should go through the govt via foreign office. They are, simply put, clutching at straws.
