I used PT from someone's insistence about 6 months ago...
The kind of talk that goes on in those forums is what no respectable human, let alone Muslim can enjoy...
There are girls on there that give Maa Behen ki gaaliyan, there are guys there that openly tell girls to ...
There are sectarian forums that blow you away with the kind of insults to religious personalities like you wouldn't believe...
We'll leave it at that...

i was a member of it long back then and just couple days back i joined that site again. I would agree with Lajawab. I was in this religious room and people there were so ignorant and intolerant that i was really exasperated. and i made this grave mistake of taking a tour of paki rooms that was just down right embarrasing and i said to this guy who was on mic that perhaps you’re getting too personal and next sec i was bounced off:halo: so i have no plans of going there again:naraz:

Well it's your fault that you went straight to those groups. There are good groups too on PalTalk. There are many helpful groups under Computers and Technology category. You can even create your own and invite your friends and speak good.
If we talk about bad guys, well they are everywhere. There are free porn and warez channels on IRC. Even on Yahoo! Indian and Pakistani rooms are often more embarrassing than Gays and Lesbians rooms, you know why. Sectarian forums is a common issue. Then there are millions of websites on different subjects on the WWW which no respectable human, let alone Muslim can enjoy. So why connect to the Internet?
Because its usage is upto you.
The thing is that you are not forced to do anything on the Internet.
I'm on GupShup for almost two years now and literally there are few categories here that I have never even clicked on. I'm not saying that they are not worth it but I'm not interested in those topics. So I dont participate there.
The same thing you can do on PalTalk, if you dont like sectarian and skiddish pakistani groups just dont go there.
You are right up to some extent at your end but you know... these problems are common on the Internet.
Let's try to understand that we cannot correct everyone but, atleast we can avoid them.

I used paltalk three four years back. I used to visit the quiz room. It was quite interesting. Later on quiz rooms closed. I did not visit later on. Is there any quiz room. Kindly let me know.
