pakistan's population nightmare

why are so many pakistanis oblivious to the problems rapid population growth will cause? are they too duped by mullahs into having 10-20 children, only for them to become radicalized by mullahs who dont care for them?

or are they too obsessed with trying to outbreed the ‘kuffar’ in order for their idiotic minds to think islam will be victorious?

why is population control so frowned upon? do they not realize that resources are finite?

and don’t bring america or the west into this, we are strictly talking about pakistan and its inability to control population growth, as well as other muslim countries

compare the birth rate of muslims to non-muslims in pakistan and you’ll know what im talking about

Re: pakistan's population nightmare

To answer you question, Govt. is bn trying hard to tell ppl about family planning.
It has a strange effect on pakistan. Educated people got the message and they usually have 2-3 kids now.
Poorest ppl still don't listen and have tons of kid.
problem here is , ppl with resources could have raised even 5 children, with education and health care. But now they don't want more then 2-3.

So I don't know is family planning campaign is going to disproportionate the literate population.

Re: pakistan's population nightmare

maybe pakistan should take a cue from iran. iran has been heavily successful in curtailing its population growth rate moreso than any other nation.

Re: pakistan’s population nightmare

well if they say its haram, you go tell them its not.
see a conversation starts.

Then post pictures, your beloved place, your hiking trips.
Share you experience etc etc.

Re: pakistan's population nightmare

May be iran has more educated population than pakistan?
probably thats way Govt. could their msg across in better way.

Re: pakistan's population nightmare

exactly!!! if 1 person thinks a certain thing thr will b a million other that have a diff view,

Re: pakistan's population nightmare

their rural population isnt much different from pakistan's

during the shah's rule and the rule of ayatollah khomeini, iran's population was rapidly increasing (of course the iraq-iran war was occurring), but after khomeini's death, rafsanjani went ahead and initiated a vast family planning policy that cut the birth rate of iran in half within a decade.

you should do some reading on it, its very amazing how they managed to accomplish that feat.

maybe if other muslim nations were to heed their call, it would get somewhere, but alas, i think most are duped by mullahs to continue to have more and more children since they lack concern for resources and such.

Re: pakistan's population nightmare

So what should we do? Adopt Afghanistani ways of killing our own people through civil war and send everyone out of the country as refugee?

Re: pakistan's population nightmare

Double or even treble (at least) the money spent on education and you will see a noticeable reduction in the birth rate in a several years time or so. In particular encourage females to pursue higher education. Grow the economy and again you will notice a drop in the birth rate in the future.
