Question- has the contingent ever done dark green Kurta shalwaar and white vest? Or a different item other than a vest, like ajrak or shawl? Diff shoes like peshawari chappal?
Saw a pic of the 1948 contingent, white shirts and trousers, green blazer and a turban.

I would dress them like Neo from Matrix...why does it have to be green and white? Black would do just as good.

They should have done something to show off the amazing embroidery and intricate beadwork that make Pakistani kapray so gorgeous. They women could have worn something more fashionable. Same for the men...get Deepak Perwani, HSY or someone to design suits for them. Or maybe, something to highlight the different looks of all 4 provinces?

I would have made them all wear white sherwanis, if the flag is white n green this doesnot mean you have to include green colour 
I think I would do something to represent the diversity of Pakistani culture. I am sure the atheletes participating hail from all four provinces so they could be dressed to represent their region but with a modern, more contemporary style. And I would definitely ban the waving of the teeny tiny jhandas by the old, overweight uncles.

LOL, I bet the non Asian community found Pakistani clothes also very exotic, traditional, cultured or whatever you wanna call it just like some here are drooling over some of the African attires, we like it coz to us it looked different and exotic to us, its not we know all ins and outs of latest African fashion.
They were perfectly dressed for a country that hardly gives any damn about olympics or sports other than cricket.

Why waste money on putting them into fancy glitery Bunto gararas for an opening ceremony when the government could not be bothered to allow decent funds into their training and promote their sports in the country?
