The US looked like air hosts and hostesses...berets? Really? This is not an ad for an RL catalog.
The English...gold and white...didn't do much for me.
The Pakistanis...with all of the talent in Pakistan especially in fashion...I was so disappointed to see the plain kurta shalwars. Its not that they looked horrible but you KNOW they could have done loads better to REPRESENT out there. Yet they didn't. Shermeen wears Bunto and at the Olympics the Pakistanis wore plain kurta shalwars. Not good.
HSY that Game of Kings collection he did...the sherwanis were beautiful. I would have loved to see that on them instead.
Some of the African countries did a beautiful job in presenting their cultural heritage...positively gorgeous.
I hated Spain's...what on earth were they wearing?
^^ LOL, that is true actually, I hated the white and gold tracksuits, they looked tacky. The team kit should have been in the union Jack colours of blue, red and white.
I loved all the carribean and african teams. They were all so enthusiastic and flamboyant and more importantly, in their national costumes! Those bermuda shorts from Bermuda was a great touch!
Pakistanis as usual are inept when it comes to PR. The shalwar kameez was OK but dull and predictable, a cheerful smile would have helped lift the overall image.
^It wasn't brilliant but hey it wasn't too bad either,....at least they are out there in clean clothes. I wasn't even expecting to see Pakistani flag in Olympics this year. They didn't have huge smiles on their face but they didn't look gloomy either. *Some of them were quite fat and out of shape and only that bit I found strange about them.

Btw I saw the ceremony today and loved every bit of it.
there were many people of other countries who were out of shape too and the pakistani´s I saw were ok

i liked the yellow saris india did. sherwanis would've been nice for pakistan. but many of the teams seemed to have less than fashionable outfits. it seemed more to be about having a uniform look for some.
the indian women looked sharp (and fit!) in the sarees. but the whole picture was ruined my some unknown aunty marching in the front wearing the most atrocious turqoise pants and red sweatshirt.
no one knows who she is, and she looks pretty happy ruining the show lol
