^ it is not Islamic eduacation rather than hate teachings. If it was Islamic teaching those kids would have become IT professionals, doctors etc rather than some 16 Mujhadeen fighting in Afghanistan for warlords.
thats where you are mistaken, because of him there are more terrorists then because of america, instead of force, he should use dialogue and get the issue resolved. even the ISI is against him,
If Musharaf can ensure every person to be a member of ISI, that is give them a well-equipped office, at least one Toyota Corolla per family member, provide them with un-audited bank accounts and un-limited resources and put 2-3 guards to secure them. No one will be against him.
Jasoos, my friend you are saying like Pakistan is United States of America. Mushy did not create all of these problems, Nawaz and Bhutto did. Why aren't you blaming them? He is just trying to clean up the whole mess. There is no right or better way to do it... you got a better idea like forget about the rest of the world and go on a war against them just because we have nuclear weapon.
Whether Musharraf is a good Muslim or not is between him and Allah. About him being a Pakistani and having an identity...he fought war for us as a soldier, I don't think we should be questioning how much he loves Pakistan.
You wanna talk, let's talk about his policies or steps he has taken as a President.
He is DEFINITELY one of the best we have, some people don't even realize how well he has managed to drag Pakistan out of all the mess created by Bhutto-Nawaz etc. I will definitely consider him a HERO and there are LOTS of reasons for that. The recent London bombings may have dented our image again but he did his best to present Pakistan as a moderate nation developing economically and gained lot of respect for us around the world. You have to STUPID to blame Musharraf for what happened in Afghanistan because it was going to happen in any case and we could have dragged ourselves into more crap for NOTHING.
I am not saying Musharraf is an angel or something but one thing is for sure he definitely handled Pak affairs better than any other leader in pakistan and he has never done anything to harm Pakistan and that matters the MOST.
Musharraf has disappointed me too much. I had trust in him cz he was an army chief. Army is fiercely loyal to their land no matter what. I am so much disappointed. Ayub made pakistan's economy strong. He was a tough leader I've heard. But he worked for his country. What has musharraf in terms of progress of the country? What? What's the point of having power? There is no progress. It's disheartening. I read an article long time ago by some british astrologer who calculated from the state of cosmosic influence on 14/08/1947 that no leader would ever be true to the country and this is the fate of Pakistan to suffer corrupt leaders. Sometimes, I become to pessimistic and believe this calculation is true. And sometimes I even wonder what if any one of us who is very loyal to Pakistan from the depth of his mind and soul gets to lead Pakistan? Will he stay loyal or will become corrupt like all those who did in the past? Will we EVER have a faithful leader who STAYS faithful and works FOR the country and its' progress? Why do they change? Why do they not want to do anything worthwhile and genuine to develop the country. WHY???
Im so disappointed. Each leader wants to fill up their bellies making them large completely forgetting there's more to the responsibility which comes with power than this.
Yes, I agree he came into power at a time when black clowns were all ready to attack Pakistan and merge it into it and then attack the other states in Asia and merge them too. Pakistan would have been most difficult to overcome for them but not the other small states. I agree that he broke the dream of those black clowns. I agree he saved us our identities as Pakistanis. I agree we still have our land bcz of his strategy during the "war against terrorists". Yes, security and survival comes before the "progress. I agree but now the phase is over. Thanks to God. Now he should work on developing Pakistan. There should be an agressive movement, an agressive approach to develop. Am I asking for too much?
i was just thinking what u guys who are opposing musharraf would be saying if he hadnt been ruling pakistan and instead of him some mullah/bhutto/warlord etc was the president during 9/11 and onwards…
oh wait…most of u wouldnt even be alive since the USA would have bombed u all for not assisting in the fight against terrorism…
i will always respect someone who kisses butt to keep his people alive than someone who recites verses from the quran while encouraging followers to die and kill…
