He is a dismissed goverment servant who is ruling the country by the force of his uniform. Even a donkey in this uniform will be a Hero. Its all about uniform and nothing else. Remember Bill Clinton when he visited Pakistan, He did'nt even shock hands with him becuz he was a military dictator for US at that time and democracy was US's main objective in Pakistan. And becuz after 9/11 they needed him badly they made him their "pittho" and the moment he is finished with his assignmets they will bring a new one.

The only good thing he did was side with US, but it is not like BB or NS woudl have sided with Bin Laden! Even that,Mush has gone way beoyond just support, to virtually handing over Pak to US in return for their support for him
