Like it or not, all the major culture, arts, sports, whatever spring from Lahore or Karachi. Places like Islamabad are playing catch up and a few nice buildings won't change that just yet.

agreed. its liek comparing NY and LA to sioux falls south dakota :)
cleaner more organized sure, but not as lively, less things going on. less diverse and not historical. I vote for karachi and lahore before islamabad :)

what is the use of comparing each city with another… thats y we ppl are fighting with each other…
all the northern part, sawaad skardu, hunza etc.. never been there but I really hope to visit there one day insha'Allah, and calm myself with the beauty of nature and feel Allah's presence in His creations. :)
beside that, I can feel the love of each and single part of my country. :-)
I hear village chamba pind is the best place in Pak.
Culturally Lahore is better but there is definitely more to do in Karachi than anywhere else in Pakistan. I just love the hustle bustle in Karachi and I am glad that the nightlife is coming back to Karachi.
