Yes, those punjabis “came” from Punjab with all the punjabi accents! So you can tell some of the punjabi mindset.
It is not that punjabis actually settled in karachi are always that better. I have had punjabis joke with me about mahajirs being matarwa, bhayya because they thought my family was from Punjab! 
We are quite tall and my dad can speak fluent punjabi due to his days in Punjab University and PAF school Sargodha!
