How can you brush such broad groups in just one stroke? There are many wealthy, educated (and well-respected) Pakistanis. Just as there are all kinds of Indians.

Do you think Pakistanis would be more respected as Pakistanis if they were more wealthy and educated?

I find Indians to be the more respected of the two, and I’m wondering if its because of the difference in wealth/education.

In USA, most of the paks are actually pretty successful. They may be more traditional then hindians, but that is not the problem. You might see alot of paks with dari, but who are doctors and engineers.

Most of the dunken donuts, seven elevens, and almost 90% of gas stations are owned by desis. So desis are pretty successful..

The thing with indians is that no matteer how ugly they are they will always try to act like a gora. But even if a bangee has a Mercedez benz, he would still be a bangee and a jamadar. But paks don’t try to act gora, they try to be who they really are as educated yet traditional
