the game: just curious, how much did u get the tickets for? and i’m not worried about the tickets getting sold out…last weeks paper said only 8,000 of the 30,000 were sold…the organizers weren’t breaking even :-/ but then again, knowing desi’s, everything is done at the last min…

I got them for 35 bucks for 100 level seating, right near the “pavilion”.

sittin rite nex to the pavillion , in front of the jumbo tron...now hopefully its the paki pavillion...coz eggs arent on sale anywhere...and im not about to spend an extra 2.09 on the indian team ;)

Haha.. it was a 45 over a side match. Pakistan all out for 109 after 30 overs. Wasim Akram made 51... baqi sab no one made over 10 each.
India in reply started batting crazy and reached the target in 17 overs for the loss of 3 wickets. Jadeja and Atul Wassan were the main performers for India.
Aaqib Javed bowled well for Pakistan and another buddha uncle Mohsin Kamal bowled well too. Wasim akram bowled 2 overs and left. The last 2 overs for Pakistan were bowled by Abdul Qadir.

Pak were all out for a pathetic 109. India then raced to victory in just 16 overs for the loss of three wickets (all three taken by Aqib Javed). Wasim Akram was the top scorer for Pakistan with 51 runs. Congats to Indian vets
