Yes I agree. We are testers not criminals. It's about time to get some of our money back from those criminals at dish network that has charged us with ridiculous amount of fees over years. They are charging $250 for India Pakistan series. So who is the criminal here?

Believe me there will be a crack out for N2 once it starts. No one can do anything about it right now. So just sit back and relax N1 until it lasts.

Agent, the NAGRA2 stream in Europe has not yet been cracked, and its been over 2 years now. I know one of the best testers out there (PC and some old school ppl might remember him), thesatguy, and hes not too optimistic too. NAGRA2 has been out for a while, its not like on 23rd they are shifting, they are merely cutting off NAGRA1 and so far all dishnet testers have failed to crack it.
As for Dish, they wont show anymore cricket in future I bet, since alot of pakistani sites are now charging a fraction of the money for their online broadcast.

A couple of things. One in jest and one in seriousness.
Unless you paid $250 for cricket, and now recovering by hacking their other channels, I don’t see a co-relation in the argument.
Secondly, I think illegally receiving satellite signals is a federal offence.
beta, I am sure if online re-distribution of cricket becomes more mainstream, these Dish folks and their lawyers will come after it. Right now, this activity just doesn’t seem to have the critical mass to make it worth the while.
In reality, it is so stupid on the part of Dish. Their costs to show matches is fixed. They don’t have any significant incremental costs to provide cricket to their customers. As an example, if they had priced it at, say $100, maybe six people would have bought it individually, who now pooled and got in one place. At the end of the day, Dish got $250, whereas it may have gotten $600.

Is cricket PPV channel going down too with N1? That's the only PPV i care about.

Agent, everything is eventually switching to N2, but dish is the most sensitive about PPVs, remember how they used to cycle ECMs right before major PPvs such as the Lewis Tyson bout etc
Faisal is right to some extent. Also why are you folks in Canada complaining about Dish's prices lol?

Yeah I know all channels will switch to N2 within 6 months. But I was asking if cricket PPV will also go down by March 16 or 23rd with other desi channels. As long as I get to see the whole India Pak series, I will be a happy camper.

btw.. i was checking sumthing and i found out espn aisa is on 108 and its fta..
and the site goes to espn star.. can sum1 who has fta... can they check if it is actually espn star on 108 :S plz

i cancelled my desi channels for now, wa snot watching them nuff to really pay for them.
Now unless beta, spock and all you other phulantaroos have a tota for me to get those for free, I am done with desi Tv for sometime. Only thing i will miss is music videos. rest of the programs were okay but i can live without em.
