Yes here in india lot o girl dancing on stages and their organizers are booked on daily basis for obscenity......
while same kind of vulgar dance is allowed in films..and that is partiality....

Nomi I'm not in favor of showing Indian content (specially these stupid awards) on Pakistani channels and unfortunately a faction of society mentally accepted what is shown in these award shows, but again dances in Pakistani stage shows are comparetively more vulgar and even the families who accepted items songs of bollywood have not accepted those. I'm sure, no one will come and say 'Ghar ki murgi daal barabar', because its haram murghi here.

think there are no stage shows are being produced in Karachi after general public boycotted the dramas with vulgar and double standard dialogues. I kinda remember Moin Akhtar left the stage shows for this reason.

I agree, stage shows are not anymore what they used to be. Those disgusting dances and lyrics have ruined it.
But if our people are against these mujra dances, then they should take the same stance against bollywood too. Exactly the same stuff, if not worse, is shown in bollywood movies. And familes watch it together. If you listen closely to a lot of bollywood songs, then they equal the Naseebo lal songs in level of vulgarity.
The only difference is that the bollywood mujra songs are sung by Sunidhi Chohan (or whoever) and the dances are performed by katrinas and malikas, who are adored and idolized by many people.
Plus the fact that pakistani mujra songs are in punjabi, is reason enough for a lot of Pakistanis to look down on it.
Take the song ‘Neray aa’. Now that it has been remade by coke studio, all of a sudden a lot of people are liking it. Because there is a big name attached to it. I have heard many people saying that Coke studio brought class to an otherwise cheap vulgar song. lol.
The song is still cheap and vulgar. The lyrics are exactly the same. It is just that us people are hypocrites and easy to manipulate.
Someone claimed Nargis to be worse than rakhi Sawant. Are you serious? Rakhi who has an allergy to cloths is less worse than Nargis??
When Veena Malik’s Channo came out, a lot of Pakistanis said that she is a **** and she is trying to equal Katrina en malika, but she can never compete with them.
I don’t think so. Madam Noorjehan also sung some Punjabi songs like ‘Akh ladi baddo badi, moqa mile kaddi kaddi’, they were not resented and even remixed by PTV during restriction period. People liked ‘Ud kothe aa to kanwan we’ and even ‘aween rusiya na kar meri jaan’ by Naseebo Laal in Punjabi. So language is not the problem IMO.
