There were lot of item songs in Pakistani old movies like ‘Bijli bhari hai mere ang ang main’,‘naram gulabi sham hai’ in Naheed Akhtar’s voice, but didn’t sound or picturised in the manner giving bad taste. They were catchy numbers unlike ‘pyar di ganderi’ te ‘sawan di haneri’ which are just too much.
I think these songs are given to the stage actresses they can make them vulgar by their moves.
