Pakistani soldier beheaded by teenage boys

New propaganda videos show al Qaeda-connected terrorists carrying out the beheadings of captured Pakistani soldiers, labeled “slaves to America.”

One edited video, obtained by the Blotter on ABCNews.com, shows several teenage boys carrying out the decapitation of a Pakistani soldier with crude knives and then holding the severed, bleeding head with its military beret still in place.

In a brief speech to the camera before the execution, the speaker says the soldier must die because he is a “slave to America.”

“These videos are put out by these terrorists off and on to create a feeling of fear and insecurity among civilians,” Maj. Gen. Waheed Arshad said of the video. “Whenever it’s a beheading of a civilian or the military, it’s of great concern to all people in the country.”

Several hundred Pakistani soldiers are being held in the country’s lawless tribal areas after being surrounded by militants.
Military sources in Islamabad report another beheading this week of paramilitary troops from Pakistan’s Frontier Corps.

Re: Pakistani soldier beheaded by teenage boys

only more of these types of videos will slowly convince the lazy pakistani people to rise up against these extremists

Re: Pakistani soldier beheaded by teenage boys

i think JUI is a bunch of a-holes. They were in power in NWFP and didn't do shhh about it, and now they've dissolved the assembly so 'legally' they're not liable for the area, eventhough they get their votes from there. Yet they have the nerve to say 'army should withdraw from SWAT' and on what authority might they be saying that? wolf in disguise. How pathetic, people should kick these a**es outta politics once and for all, either vote for the right person, or don't vote at all. send a clear message. dammit these pakis are soooo ignorant, they keep getting screwed yet they don't learn.

Re: Pakistani soldier beheaded by teenage boys

Progressive forces must have all our support.

Re: Pakistani soldier beheaded by teenage boys

Unfortunately not everyone. The anti-mush crowds will blame him for taking on the terrorists and try to divert the attention from the brutal crimes of jihadis. It's all about diversion, so that the real issue can be hidden.

Re: Pakistani soldier beheaded by teenage boys

^i agree with u now more than eva before. I've had a pretty modest view on politics and such, but after the beheading and hearing Fazlullah (the guy who supposedly is in charge of the coocoo folks in Swat) i'm all for getting rid of these bigeots. Instead of apologizing and offering condolences to the families of the soldiers, he had the nerve to justify beheading them on national news last week by saying 'Oh yes, but they attacked us first, and their intentions are not good, we tell them do not send soliders this way and they still do, so we had to do this to show them we're serious' like WTF are u onnn mullaaahh!! Swat is part of the country and the army can go whereever it wants. urggghhhh these people are sooooo....unwilling to accept what's right, thick skulls i tell ya! then he started arguing with the anchor when the anchor said 'but mullah sahib, swat is a part of pakistan, and this army is pakistani and muslim, how can u punish them for following orders'....and he had the same dumb shhh to say like before.
Like i posted before in another thread, these mullah are taking people's trust for granted. People respect them because they are well 'maulana' which is a very scholastic term, pity these individuals give that name a tainted meaning with their actions. Indeed they're not acting in any way like a muslim should.

Re: Pakistani soldier beheaded by teenage boys

But we keep being told, sustained democracy will solve the issue of Swat, Fata etc. No one tells us how exactly.

Re: Pakistani soldier beheaded by teenage boys

that's like saying 'i can drive, i just dono how'....
How dow they expect democracy to work if they won't let new people come into power regardless of their fresh faces. Problem starts from the root and gets worse as it builds upwards. Democracy means, there are new faces on the scene constantly. Only then will each one try to outdo the other one in performance so he gets a shot at it again, if these same people keep coming back again n again n again with just a slightly different mandate and a new slogan that points the finger at the last leader that's not going to make a difference. These people are the cause of it all if u ask me, BB, NS, MUSH, CHAUDRIES, JUI, MMA, JI, all these folks.
They all need to be scrapped for once and for all, only people can do that. Either vote for new people and nominate and encourage people to surface or just don't vote at all. the problem with paki people (and i'm a paki too) is that they get emotional and vote the same person that screwed them last time, and when he/she wins again and does them wrong, then they cry foul. i dont' get it. why don't people just fkin rise up and become a nation, it's about time! 60 yrs is enuff raising the flag, now live upto the purpose.

Re: Pakistani soldier beheaded by teenage boys

Animals... These terrorist, their supporters and their apologists should all be shot and hung.

Re: Pakistani soldier beheaded by teenage boys

Not every anti-Mush person like myself is insane. Some of us oppose Mush because we are against military rule. I most certainly don't hate him but equally I don't approve of some of the things that he has done (don't want to repeat them though). Only an insane person will blame Musharraf for taking on these extremist abhorrent killers. They are murderers. They are evil. They are barbarians. These are cold-blooded crimes against humanity. These religious thugs have no humanity in them and must be destroyed. Somethings are just not done. Such depraved acts can only be carried out by animals. Their justification for killing these poor policemen, civilians and soldiers (without recognising the fact that they are merely acting on orders from their seniors, these people have family and children etc.) in cold-blooded murder just shows how narrow-minded and jaahil understanding of Islam these people have.

I can assure you BB, Nawaz, General Kayani or whoever is in charge would go after these people.

Even Imran would - I can assure you he is not a jehadi in the sense of OBL/Fazlullah/that crack lal masjid Imam. Although he was educated at Oxford, he comes from a conservative family. Did you not see his sisters at his wedding in 1995? They all wear hijab even though all of them went abroad for higher studies and are professionals - one sister is a doctor, one of them works in the UN etc. I would like him to criticise the murderous/terrorist element among the tribal people but maybe he feels he can't because of his maternal roots, because of how these tribal people always welcomed him in the past - there was even an 8-page article with pictures of his triumphant visit to Waziristan after the world cup in 'The Guardian' in April 1992 and Imran infact wrote a book on them - the no. of civilian casualties etc. so it's not very easy for him to criticise these people.

And this impression given to us by some that the day Mush goes Pakistan will become a jehadi state is simply not true and completely baseless. Most of our politicians and the top brass of the military thankfully would never take any sh** from such killers and would go after them. Inaction here would be like shooting yourself in the foot, inviting destruction on your country.
