Indeed you are right but since the point of this thread seems to have been about WW2 perhaps you will join me in another thread for WW1, unless NihalK is happy for us to discuss both World Wars in one thread and any matters related to them?

Well actually both the wars do have the same DNA. The intrinsic connections between both the wars are too strong to discuss separately. The end of WW1 did give birth to the germ of WW2. It was inevitable.
