this thread is meant for people with thoughtfulness and patience of intellect as well as reasoning grace.

what i find disappointing for young Pakistanis Muslim men is that they are “unaware” of the fact that there is a whole world of good people - men from white, black, Arab and Spanish men, who value an assertive, humble, yet strong and yes, charming women. they do not abuse the women nor do they put their values on them. they’ve a way of reasoning that allows for both partners - in a dating or a committed marriage relationship, to forego the egos and simply be “open”.

how come young Pakistani Muslim men do not have this, they are so crazed by just the physical appearance and or the lust for power, money and more like capturing women into their insecurities?

it is very sad, indeed.

so, we should not mind seeing people who are non Muslim and non Pakistani. I think that is an inherent check for all of us in the age group, both women and men, to reassess our levels of self-esteem and grow a sense of maturity that goes beyond, false premises of hollow logic that is based on only “take, take, take” mentality. & what is more repelling is that the methods and manners and attitudes as well as practices of doing so, are one after another abominable e.g., abusing, mentally torturing, physically assaultive.

would it not be nice that our men realized the beauty of being just themselves and genuinely acting respectfully towards others, as well as self-respectable manner?

I bet u have never really known any black, arab or hispanic men, if u had u wudn't say this.

You seem to be going thru a difficult period, best thing to do for u is to forget everything about men/boyz and concentrate upon ur own self. Do what u think is good for u, treat urself like a princess and build ur self, things will fall into place sooner or later.

I haven't known white women much, but my experience from Desi, Arab, chinese, filipino women is that desi women are bad girl friends (too much nakhra) but good wives and arab, chinese, filipino are good girl friends but bad wives.

why is this misconception that other men around the world r some creatures from heaven and pakis are the badest of them all. my husband is a regular paki-muslim male and he has lots of admirable qualities.i find him much much better than the "gora" living next door (the way he treats his wife like trash).
the grass is not that greener at the other side girls!!!

Yeh sab Dushwari ka keya dhara hai. She is right to some extent. I believe the environs at home matter a lot. Though its very difficult to maintain a balance between the atmosphere at home and the society. Our value system (be it religious or moral) goes 180 degrees apart from that of the west and parents face real hardships in showing their kids the reality of life coz, in many cases, the parents are themselves ignorant. The degree of ignorance may vary from case to case. I think young ppl should study the moral and religious values (Pakistan & Islam) and should act responsibly.
