Comparing the Military capability of both Iran and Pakistan (Non-Nuclear).

Hypothetical scenario:

If there is a War between Iran and Pakistan, which military will win?

Lets say its not a war of conquest but a war of territory. Some border dispute leads to War.

The first and obvious step would be to compare their arsenal and "where" they fight. So why not present your data about their military strengths (planes, tanks, missiles etc.)?

In my opinion, Pakistan will easily win…

It has superior Air-Force and Land forces have better equipment

only problem could be Navy but other than that…

The problem of course would be other Islamic countries coming to the aid of Iran, overt or covert. Arabs don't really consider Pakistanis to be one of them, whereas Iran, eventhough Persian and Shia, are more closely held. The Arabs would see Pakistan acting as a proxy of the US. This is a total loose situation for Pakistan.

The point is, in the Arab world there are no “stand alone” conflicts. If Pakistan and Iran engage in military hostilities, the Arabs will come in.

This is a stupid and pointless question to start with. Pakistan and Iran will never go to war.

Silly arguments are being made. Arabs and Iranians despise each other. Iran antagonizes its arab neighbours through its repression of its arab minority and its ongoing claims on the territory of Arab nations such as the UAE.

Arab states (apart from Syria) also view Iran with suspicion because of Iran being Shia.

This will be yet another bloody war like Iran-Iraq. Pakistani army is superior no doubt. However it is not capable enough to go all the way to Tehran.

It is sort of like Bharati army vs. Pakistani army. Bharatis are superior, but 15 days later they all run to UN saying "Bachao Bachao, saala marta hai" (save me save me, he is bugging me).

PN should be more than a match for the iranian navy most of their older vessels (DD and FF) are not even operational.Naval arm of IRGC is equipped mainly for attacks on oiltankers not warships.

btw better scenario would be Iran vs UAE a battle over islands of abu musa , greater and lesser tumb.

Wars are serious business not a WWF style wrestle mania. Once the $hite hits the fan, no body cares about some silly rules.

Why are you interested in just a small amount of territory. I have already said it will be bloody and useless war.

However if Pakistan ought to go to war with Iran, it should be about the regime change in Tehran. And not some 10 mile strip of Iranian Balochistan.
