Re: Pakistani Men

hey why is tht a shock :konfused:

OMG!!! Call the ambulance and get life support, stat! You're totally over the hill.

I am totally kidding. No offense intended AT ALL.

PC, please take a breath. I was older than you when I met my awesome hubby...and didn't even get married until almost a year later, when another birthday had come and gone.

Yes it's true that a lot of Pakistani guys want someone in her 20s, but not ALL of them. There are actually a lot of decent men out there who are looking for such things as wit, sharaafat, good manners, a sense of humor, strong sense of faith etc. as opposed to just looking for a certain age, certain looks, certain social status and other supeficial stuff.

They are out there. I promise you that. Just hold on. Go to work, have fun with your friends, spend time with your family, and keep an open mind when meeting people. Above all, have faith in Allah.

The rest does fall into place. I know that sounds horribly cliched, but it's absolutely true. I believe it. My hubby - Pakistan born and bred - who treats me like a queen has restored my belief in it.

:)

I hope that helped, even a little bit.

Good luck!

lol, people will start recognizing him once his album is out, which is nov. 24th..can’t wait! =D

and yes, he’s had one for a couple of months now

:lajawab:

What chat room? I can assure you I know more gaalian than you.

Re: Pakistani Men

Re: Pakistani Men

Ppl always used to tell me when I was younger that marrying a desi man was better cos of the whole extended family thing ('Oh, u'll have so much support' etc, 'white families don't care about each other the same way we do'). Caring/interference obviously there's a fine line but **if **u like more 'close-knit' family relations a Pakistani man would prob be a better choice..
