Ashtray : She doesn't understand that it's hard to teach kids about something that they are not exposed to or if they are exposed it is a rarity. Plus 10 years down the road he'll be using his shoulder mounted rifle that he is so proud off.

Mr Ashtray, dont be embarrassed. I spoke with Verizon saab and I do indeed understand where you are coming from....but if you have an international family then you need to raise your kids to be able to understand different cultures and hence the different ways of dress, different values etc etc.
That said, I still cannot condone the attitude of a 3 year old doling out a death sentence to a woman wearing revealing clothing whether its in hometown usa or talibani afghanistan. Gimme a break. Thats just insane to let a 3 year old develop these ideas.

It amazes me, that the same women never seem to say a word when men regardless of race hit on them on the subway, on campus, etc,etc. If the grass is greener on the other side, then please go ahead, nothing of value will be lost, and the Pakistani community will not miss the disgruntled girls who walk around as if butter wouldnt melt in their mouth.

I knew a Darzi in my Mohalla in Lahore, who would walk a woman to her destination while sitting on his Saleeka machine.. his eyes would just follow the backside of the woman until she disappears. He must have been in his 50’s. That guy must be lauded.
This is not a problem. Having grown up in Lahore, it is actually a nice thing. Every good looking thing deserves to be appreciated. Don’t tell me Pakistani girls don’t check out boys.
I agree that comments (such as, Kiya Backside hey) are rude and not necessary, but a discreet checking out is harmless and shouldn’t bother people…at least those who are confident about themselves and their bodies.
