It is personal choice until you start putting down the other.

When you compare two things and express your personal choice for one particular thing, then its not putting the other thing down. BTW, Its just food item and showing sensitivity from either of the sides, doesn’t make any sense to me.

There is a huge difference between “I like A” and “A is better than B”.

so what? If I find taste of particular bran’d / item / origin of a product more tastier than other varieties and express it. Its just a food item.

We live in a society where people are growing bran’d conscious and "Made in XYZ’, etc got some relibility. Under these circumstances, if someone come and praise a home grown product and express his / her preference of that item over variety produced in some other country, then whats big deal in it. Does scriptures have forbidden for that behavior?

No one is fighing. Its just expression of personal choice and naturally a person develops taste of the products grown in his / her homeland. For example: I’ve a good taste for paratha over Pizza or burger. I like Bengali Rosh Gulla more than Arabic Baklawa. Just personal choice and nothing to be serious.

I like my baklawa. Can you not insult it please?

And why u haven’t mentioned Sondesh? What u have against Sondesh?

Dusehri, Anwar Rattol, SindhRi, Chau(n)sa, LangRa … jo koi bhi mil jae, jab khane ka mood ho. This season, still have no mood to taste, though dinner main her roz samne hota hai
