Indian Mangoes > Any other countries mangoes.

Re: Pakistani Mangoes: Destination USA

Pretty sure caribbean mangoes are red/green and taste really bad..

Re: Pakistani Mangoes: Destination USA

Hmm.. Pomegrantes, now that’s something I haven eaten in awhile..

Re: Pakistani Mangoes: Destination USA

Atulfo mangoes from Venezuel look somewhat Indian/Pakistani mangoes but don’t taste as good. mexican and other mangoes have mild flavor and are quite fibrous while Venezuelan mangoes are less fibrous.

i hate fibrous mango pulps.

oh…i was kicked out for lack of required percentage of attendance…i skipped classes in the morning session on almost every day…used to go to University at 1 pm [like a royal] instead of 8 am. :frowning: i had more fun in that academic year! i wished i had no fun and concentrated on my studies. :frowning:

i am actually a Plant Pathologist and also work as a Horticulturist. 2-in-1…

Re: Pakistani Mangoes: Destination USA

^You mentioned you can create new varieties? You must create a variety of mangoes that has all the qualities of these fabulous Pakistani mangoes people are describing which grows in the in the UK’s climate year round. I imagine that would be quite lucrative as well.

Re: Pakistani Mangoes: Destination USA

And make them weather hardy, so they don’t spoil easily and can be kept in the fridge or transported from coast to coast or when people wanna throw a Mango Party. You can do it!

Re: Pakistani Mangoes: Destination USA

unfortunately, i can’t experiment with new varieties in Canada because the weather is not conducive to mango growing. there are already a huge number of Horticulturist working in India. they wanna create disease resistant and weather hardy varieties which has longer shelf life. this year, Indian mangoes are banned into European markets due to bug infestation. they have to overcome this problem first. Pakistan has a golden opportunity to tap in the market by filling in for missing Indian mangoes.
