Hanibal, can we please 'define' a mollah first? Who is this big bad mollah you guys keep talking about? If mollahs are the ones that hate the west, then I bet 95% people in the country are mollahs.
There is hatred among pakistanis towards ahmadis since a lot of negative propaganda has been done against them. There are organizations that have sole purpose of working against Jammat-e-ahmadiyya. To project their version of truth they even used lies to intensify the fire of hatred. Governments made laws against them just to win the support of hate mongers. They made every effort so that only they should be able to communicate with the masses and only their version gets projected. Thats is why ahmadi books and publications have been repeatedly banned and have circulation only within the community. They have kept us away from print and electronic media and even public media folks also contributed towards hatred towards us. But I from my personal experience have noticed some degree of positivity in behaviors of many non-ahmadi muslims if I compare to the era of Zia-ul-haq. Education, open media, and world becoming a global village contributed to it. but still we have a long long way to go.
A few days back, after a long time representative of Jammat-e-Ahmadiyya was invited in 'Point Blank by Mubashir Lucman'. That is really a positive move but in that show, the editor of express news said something that was really interesting. He started expressing his views as "This is a very sensitive issue (talking about ahmadis) and i think nobody has the courage to speak the truth. At least I don't have the courage to speak the truth".
I think communication is the key in curbing the hatred. When there is no communication or communication doors are shut on one party then disinformation and falsehood takes roots. There are differences but there are lot of commonalities between us. We are no enemies of Islam or Pakistan. So instead of always talking about differences, we should also find some time to find common grounds.

I think more important thing is to educate people that no one should be persecuted because of their religious beleifs.

Yea The Mullahs who gathered once against Quid e Azam under the flag of AL AHRAR, those Mullahs who were sitting under the foot of Hindus and tried there best to not make a muslim state, yeah those mullahs who said our leader KAFIRE AZAM, called our Pakistan, Paladistan.

This is the Mulla i am refering to, the mulla who think whatever he have said is the last word (doesn't matter if it can't be proven as per Quran or Sunnah), The Mulla who is ever-ready to get in riots over issues which can be solved in minutes...
These kind of Mulla exist in all religions...

i agree, but Qadyanies/Ahmadies has to share the blame as well, it is personal exp. that if one tries to be friendly with them they preach their religion to you and tells ou that so-far you have been KAFIR and would rotten to hell in after-world and would suffer from all evils in this world because of the Kufr... and once you accept their religion, in this world you will have all the wordly benefits i.e. settlement in Germany, UK and/or USA in case you don't want to leave they'll settle you in Pakistan...
Now an average guy on street has its own problems, and to be called Kafir is the last thing he want, this brings in the Average Mulla on the street who by this gets a chance to use his best toy the microphone...

Molvi sahib of a mosque is respectable till he causes nuisance in the soceity, i once was present when a SHOLA-BAYAAN molvi called Illama Molana Ludhayana etc was calling the people of other sect ( if i remember correctly deobandies were his target) a kafir and wajibulqatal... this is the kind of Mulla everyone should aviod and these should be thrown behind the bars ( which actually i tried invain, the police in-charge of the area was scared of secterian violance) These are the mullas who get innocent killed the very innocent who is well protected under the very Islam Mulla claims to be representing.
Yes majority are not like that, but there are handful of them who have caused more damage then good...

i suppose pakistan, to its credit, already has all the religiously compliant laws in place to deal with mirzai-ism without further agitation from individuals, although both mirzais and the odd preacher trying to disrespect those very adequate laws.
another reason why qadiani community should respect the current laws for its own benefit.

Dude why don't u go to Pakistan (if not already there) and stand somewhere in a crowded place and simply claim loudly of being an Ahmadi/Qadiyani (nothing else) ..... be assured of being abbused if not beaten down.
The country (the socalled "Islam ka Qillah") and it's laws (or the lack of them) right now offer anything other than protection for a human life by islamic standards and with that i mean for MUSLIMS (sice Law doesn't consider Ahmadis to be Muslims) .....
All those who today shout ever so loud with passion that "Ahmadis are Agents of the west" etc. would board the very first plane if given Visa for such a Western Country ..... Only those would remain in the country who already live like being in West.

fact of the matter is that by law of the land, ahmedis are forced to loive as third class citizens in their onw country, legally not allowed to call themselves muslim, and legally not allowed to pray in a manner similar to that of ‘muslims’
so lets stop blaming the stuff on takfiris who can collectively go straight to hell as far as I care, but as a nation these laws need to be changed. It does not matter what posts ahmedis are at or not, we can also claim that the only nobel prize winner in Pakistan was an ahmedi..but none of that changes the laws that are on the book.

well there's no need to change the laws, the qadyanis dont believe in kahatam e naboowat, so they are not considered muslims...having said that, leaving aside the discussion that whether they are or not muslims still there's no justification for killing them!!!

There is no law but the Laws in Quran from Almighty Allah Tallah and the Teachings of Prophet KhatimulNabiyin RehmatulAalemeen Mohammd SAW.
