Seeing is believing, but I must say I have come across a few.
I guess you're right that most beautiful girls do not feel the need for using their brains. They know they can get away with a lot, **become increasingly dependent on their men **and deliberately miss out on small technical details (the very essence of rational arguments).
Maybe that's why some guys don't favor too much intelligence in a woman---they like girls who will be more dependent?

As any relationship progresses, some degree of dependence should become a part of it. I think, it's one of the most basic paradigms of feeling the need and caring for each other. If too much intelligence means too much of independent thinking, it can never lead to a harmonistic relationship. Guys do like women who are independent yet not indifferent. It's just the right balance that both parties should seek to maintain, but I must say, it's no easy task.

I wasn't alluding to a healthy balance but rather to guys who like their women to stay "in the dark" and unable to take care of the basics of life on their own. I've seen to many cases like that in my time. (sigh)

It's not only Pakistani girls who get married at a young age. It could be anyone. Plus, you don't have to be beautiful in order to get rishtey from people. Some are greedy and just want money. Some want visa. So this is a very silly thing to say.

i said only pakistani gals cuz western girls usually make this decision themselves. so i opted them out.
now, making a generalization is also something silly to do.

First off: BEAUTY IS IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER.
Plus - there are SO many ways of beautiful.... so if you're asking about beauty - you should be more specific about what classification of beauty you're referring to.
