What is army trying to do?

Re: What is army trying to do?

I dont think the govt has been paralyzed at all. They have had 5 years, and nothing to show for. Our status quo parties have grown to believe that once they are in power, all government institutions are under their control, and will do what they are told to. There is no concept of delegation of authority. They assume that the judges will always consider them holy, the NAB will always consider them to be innocent, and the public exchequer will be their personal piggy bank.

In any proper democractic govt, all these institutions work individually. If the SC has ruled against the PM, it doesnt, and shouldnt create a power vacuum, unless PPP is looking for an excuse for its failures. The taliban are already thriving under the immaculate security setup and intelligence of Rehman Baba.

The recent incidents have shaken up the status quo. I hope PML-N will be swept away in this as well.
