Pakistani forces take over militant (Lashkar-e-Tayba) camp - witness

None from the reports available. The army knows the compound very well and probably just walked in without too much trouble.

Waahid, give me one good reason why Hamid Gul should be arrested? Because he won't live like an "uncle tom" in his own country? Screw that.

And Magic stick, Hindu zionists are everywhere, they are all over Gujrat where that monkey Modi is the leader. I still believe the HIndu zionists were involved somewhere. How else was Modi and BJP's arch enemy once of the first people assasinated. And LeT are not a bigger threat to Pakistan then U.S. or India. They have fought Pakistans war in Kashmir for decades against the same illegal occupation by your gov't in Kashmir.

Next time? They're hand n glove with Al-queda. These are the same people who blew up hotel in Islamabad few months back.

When was it concluded that it was these people were involved in Marriott?

If the gov't wanted to take actions did they have to wait until this SOB Zardari was punked and slapped around to take action. It should that Pakistan's shots are called from Washington and even Delhi. What a freakin pathetic leader we have. Sellouts SOB.s

A Pakistani government official says security forces have arrested a man to be one of the masterminds of the Mumbai attacks.

The official said Monday that Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi was among at least 12 people detained after a raid Sunday on a camp run by the banned militant group Laskhar-e-Taiba in Pakistan's part of Kashmir.

He spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to speak to the media.

Indian officials say the sole Mumbai attacker captured alive has told them that Lakhvi recruited him for the mission and that Lakhvi and another militant, Yusuf Muzammil, were its masterminds.

Re: Pakistani forces take over militant (Lashkar-e-Tayba) camp - witness

I am curious as to why no other attacker has been identified, afterall with 1 captured alive, he would know the rest of them.

Even though I don't see Hindu/Zionist conspiracies lurking in the shadows everywhere, I also feel that there is a lot which is not out there. Who were the other terrorists? Who were the locals who provided the logistics? Don't tell me they roamed around Mumbai using google maps! In the subcontinent, locations and addresses and streets are known by the 'samose ki dukaan' and 'paak ki dukaan', not by the western standard of maps. Have you ever seen a foreign tourist with a 2 kilo city map totally lost on the road???

Its about time. Pakistan has become a hub for terrorist activities. The sooner the government takes out the terrorists the better it will be for Pakistan.

Raiding a camp and arresting some people donesn't mean that they were involved in the last Mumbai incident...

Re: Pakistani forces take over militant (Lashkar-e-Tayba) camp - witness

Pakistan's current action against the Jihadist says all for the Let's involvement.....I feel sorry for the thousands of man hours put in by our conspiracy theorist Guppies and few moderators. The Paki govt debunked everything !

Yes Sir, This is "Roz ka khel" for the Pak army.

Re: Pakistani forces take over militant (Lashkar-e-Tayba) camp - witness

My symathies with Mr Zardari, bechare apne biwi ke katilon tak ko na pakad paye. Very helpless, but still going ahead to appease India and world.

If such actions continue I foresee a slightly more responsible Pakistan or another coup.

Grow up Chor police khenlne ki umar guzar chuki hai!

SO what else was he supposed to do?

You seem to be making a differentiation among terrorists. Besides it is not proven if any act of terrorism was actually from across border.

Mumbai attack can very well be an inside job. (It happened when both countries were coming closer. It made India stop bilateral talks and essentially made terrorists win their objective)

You seem to have one point but a lot of people have opposite or doubtful ideas.

Specially after Samjhota Train incident.

Bringing terrorists to justice should be done regardless how, where and when they did the horrible crime. Innocent citizens do have rights.

And yet Modi is not only roaming around but was elected by the people again. What might one say about 'people' who knowingly elected him?

Point is that one cannot expect others to be perfect and yet concedes when counter argument is given by saying ' we are not a perfect country'.

Pakistan has done a lot more than it is capable of to counter terrorism and it should be acknowledged.
