Any group that had capability of harnessing this mad Indian bull is a welcome sight for Pakistan. Now if they go back and take control of them in order to confirm with 'this group of what they were doing on the night of the attacks' this becomes a Pakistani matter now.

I know what you're saying. The hindu mobs that massacred so many muslims in 2002 have not all been brought to book. We are not a perfect country. I agree.
However that is an internal matter. Modi did not organize terrorist camps and train bombers to go attack Karachi or Lahore.

Although it is unlikely that the government or intelligence of Pakistan is involved but there has been little doubt since day 1 as to who might be behind the terrible carnage in Mumbai. So the arrest of LeT comes as little news to me.
These are bad guys and need to be reined in, even destroyed. People of such extremist mind-set pose as much of a threat to the security of Pakistan as to outsiders
Next time they might turn the gun on us and God forbid go on a killing spree in the streets, bazaars, airports, railway stations, hotels etc. of Pakistan
If anything we must be asking ourselves how come such radical militant groups (LeT was supposedly banned by Mush in 2002!!) are able to spread their vile ideology and train with such freedom in parts of Pakistan? This has serious implications for the security of our citizens and not just outsiders. It is really in our best national interests to not only restrain these groups but get rid of them.
I think some of my fellow Pakistanis, the ones who are still in denial, are too easily impressed by people like (Brass Tacks) Zaid Hamid, the master of far-fetched plots. He maybe quite knowledgeable but he also seems quite nationalistic (some of you may call it patriotic) to me - perhaps nothing wrong with that, he sure speaks persuasively but whether his views and analyses are totally unbiased and sincere is debatable. Everything seems a big conspiracy to him.

^^ More than 90% Pakistanis on this forum were backing these absurd controversy theories and blaming the Hindu Zionists for these attacks. It was an extremely disappointing display of denial. I'm glad a lot of them have come to terms with reality. I hope the rest follow. As rightly pointed out by Asif, these guys are a bigger problem for Pakistan than outsiders.

Kher Mubarak and thanks for those nice words. Whether these were non-state actors (as Zardari puts it) is besides the point. It is still the responsibility of our government and intelligence services (who could do with some swift much-needed purging) to act and ensure that terrorists don't use our territory for attacks anywhere in future.
