Pakistani forces take over militant (Lashkar-e-Tayba) camp - witness

Radio New Zealand News : Stories : 2008 : 12 : 08 : Pakistani forces take over militant camp - witness

If true, this will make the whole word believe India even more.

  1. We have always denied that LeT “camps” exist

  2. We have always claimed Jamat-Dawa is not connected to LeT

I hope we jail all the GHQ geniuses who created this monster in the first place. Now India will be able to blame Pakistan and make it believable even when someonme farts in Delhi or Mumbai.

Re: Pakistani forces take over militant (Lashkar-e-Tayba) camp - witness

How come pakistani/indian media along with bbc is not reporting this news?? As far as i know this news should've been breaking news on indian media right?

Yup, the international community has already accepted India’s version (I say VERSION because I know you are all still in denial) that there was definite Pakistani involvement. It is possible results of investigations (proofs reports whtvr) were shared internationally or with Pakistan to convince them that "See i told you, there is a link ". I wouldn’t be surprised if they don’t want to reveal everything in the media because it might hamper counter terrorism efforts in the future?

Your mentioned claims were already accepted as excuses and lies by Indians and other international intelligence agencies. Now you’ve confirmed that these were indeed lies.

Re: Pakistani forces take over militant (Lashkar-e-Tayba) camp - witness

I thought I heard reports of similar nature on AAJ just minutes ago. Plus Skynews in UK also reported this according to another forum that I visit. Indian media is also reporting this.

Re: Pakistani forces take over militant (Lashkar-e-Tayba) camp - witness

radio new zealand??

at any rate, if LeT is infact a deniable proxy for us, we need to start properly denying it.

This is not an indian forum u r posting on........You are talkin as if india is a saint country lol.....

Bhai it was in Reuters and it is hitting the wires and TV channels now.

Deniability was long gone. These guys are more of a liability now.

We are dangerously bordering on being declared a terrorist state. We cannot do that while requesting aid from US and loans from IMF and World Bank.

These jihadi proxies have caused more harm than good and our name is in the mud. I was fearing this exact situation the moment I saw the Mumbai attacks. It did not feel like a local operation and whichever moron decided to do this has caused Pakistan severe harm.

the names been in the mud a while. and we're still too important for them to do anything substantial to us. worst case a little pain for the ruling class, the average guy doesnt see those loans come or go.

you think if it was feasible for pakistan to be invaded it wouldnt have happened a while back?

rahi baat jihadi proxies ki.. if they can be focused to being more disciplined and moral proxies who actually do 'freedom fighting'/defend against indian army's atrocities on civilians in kashmir instead of killing civilians themselves like now, keep em. otherwise let heads roll, NOT because proxies are wrong in principle but because of their idiotic execution of innocents.

Re: Pakistani forces take over militant (Lashkar-e-Tayba) camp - witness

ravage,

proxies are bad inherently. To be effective, the army needs to maintain a distance from the proxy groups but the proxies should have enough motivation on their own to do what they do.

Historically, all proxies we have used have based their motivation on Islam. The most effective military proxies have been the most hardline and most "Islamic." By definition these guys will not stop with Kashmir when they hear about plight of Indian Muslims. That is why these guys cannot stop from supporting Arabs or Chechens or Uzbeks or whichever Muslim cause they come across.

BTW, "we are too important for them to do anything substantial" is a dangerous view. The more they feel that our proxies are out of control and can get hold of our nukes or attack WEstern countries, the less reluctant they will be to punish us.

They don't have to do much. Just delay the aid, put many of our companies on "terror watch list" and thwart normal commerce and in weeks, our country will come to a crisis.

Supporting non state actors is a bad idea. Going to nuclear war over them is even

Re: Pakistani forces take over militant (Lashkar-e-Tayba) camp - witness

i think you're imagining scenarios that are worse than what can realistically happen. in the short term, nobody wants the kind of fallout expected from a destabilization of Pakistan, least of all India and US.

rahi baat proxies ki, yeah they're traditionally Islamic, but people like LeT have according to radio new zealand like reports, been left alone because they focused mainly on India. Even now, theyre being hammered because they allegedly conducted a moronic attack on India, so the whole supporting chechen/arab etc thing might be true, but not relevant to the current issue.

Calm down man. You know what I meant. No offense intended. Just worded in an informal jokey way.

Ofcourse India is not a saint country. No country is.

Do you think the absence of relevant comments regarding the issue from your post is because of the slow realization seeping in that maybe there was pakistani involvement?

I am glad we have moved past that " NO NO PAKISTAN WASNT INVOLVED, IT WAS RSS AND MOSSAD, U SEE THOSE ORANGE BANDS? THIS IS INSIDE JOB" crap.

These guys are a bigger problem for the good Pakistan than USA or India. The current civilian govt. should be bold and invade these rats. If your army struggles to control them then please don't let ego come in the way for asking help from either USA or India. We have a common enemy. Get over the fact that they are your naughty cousins. They have been infected and are out to kill you as much to kill me.

Lets get over the retarded India vs Pakistan rivalry and get on with the Good vs Bad.

Mods have edited my post and i have noticed ur post have also been changed so i will jus leave it here.... no need to drag this any further :)... No worries:biggthumb

Re: Pakistani forces take over militant (Lashkar-e-Tayba) camp - witness

The news is 100% correct Pakistan army take over Lashkar HQ in muzafarabad after a bloody fight even helicopters are used their.

It was not even in my wildest dreams that Pak Gov will run after Lashkar-e-Tayba alot of change is happening under the hood people .

Re: Pakistani forces take over militant (Lashkar-e-Tayba) camp - witness

We are getting confirmation from Dawn. Waqt TV also reports this. The “arrest” of the alleged commander who was named by India will be seen as admission by Pakistan that Mumbai attacks were done by these guys.

This is bad, bad news :frowning:

Re: Pakistani forces take over militant (Lashkar-e-Tayba) camp - witness

^^^ If these people are guilty than fair enough! but Pak should not and must not hand them over to India!

Re: Pakistani forces take over militant (Lashkar-e-Tayba) camp - witness

shez,

True and they will not be handed over to India. But you bet your last dollar they will be delivered to FBI and Scotland Yard. They will also have to be tried openly and all sorts of secrets and "connections" to ISI will be "leaked." Plus, these guys are guilty before trial because US and World Bank will hold money conditional on "fair trial" of these guys and will not allow anything that even looks like a cover up.

We messed up big. If these guys were indeed guilty, they should be killed and no one should get access to anyone. We should also seriously act to clean up our land and get rid of these groups once and for all.

These jihadis can start a nuclear war by their acts. Assets out of control are dangers.

Re: Pakistani forces take over militant (Lashkar-e-Tayba) camp - witness

Great news, but it is still shocking that it took until 2008 to do this! Time to lock the jihadis up and throw the key away. Let's hope people like Hamid Gul are also arrested.

Re: Pakistani forces take over militant (Lashkar-e-Tayba) camp - witness

Jaanbaaz u are right.... I guess quickly investigate this matter nd if they are found guilty kill them.....asap..... Coz if they get to stay alive than a hell of a lot secrets will leak out..sad news....:( :(
