Pakistani fobs

This question is directed to Pakistanis raised abroad who don’t consider themselves fobs.

Do you have a preference when it comes to your relationships (nonromantic and romantic) regarding the applicant’s fobbiness status? Or does it not matter?

Mature discussion ONLY, please.

Yes, it does matter, I would want that person to have lived abroad at least 7 yrs or more. That way we'll have more in common and can relate to each other much better. Hope that made sense...

Shakuntala, I agree with you.

it does matter BUT there are more important things

Fixed it for you.

I bet i'll be making more than my husband in a few years, so no

get outta here

:hehe:

^ sara yeh avatar koa kiya hoa gaya. keeping in sync with recent discussions, its that time of the month huh?

I generally find that guys care less about this issue than girls do. In fact, I prefer fobs. In fact, I'd prefer to get married to a Pakistani girl who's living in Pakistan rather than one living abroad, simply to be able to tie myself further to Pakistan through marriage...

oh great another FOB-hatin thread.

Being one, I can say with confidence that FOB guys don’t want no relationship with these ABCD girls. We prefer girls from back home, who(big majority) arent as promiscous and “loose” as ABCDs. I mean if we wanna go for girls of that kind, then might as well go for some blondie or latinos; at least they have better looks. Suck on this now.

^ ouch!

lussi i am thinking of going for a latino any way

won't it be nice if we try to learn some nice words for others sisters n daughters too ...!!!
lately some of us r getting really careless about use of proper language ....(or is it just me???)

Moron

^A classic case of sour grapes. Idiot .

Before the ABCD brigade jumps on this, being a bonafied FOB myself, allow me to say it with confidence that this seemingly ‘loose’ and frustrated 14-yr-old-trapped-in-a -23-year-old’s-body above does not represent the sentiments of the growing FOB population here. I mean think about it for a sec. If he did, it would be like saying all FOBs are pervs.

Good day and happy generalizing :jhanda:

true.

:salute:

What’s up with abcd girls talking about FOBs  Guys usually don’t care about having a relationship with an FOB or a non-FOB as long as they are mature girls, something you don’t see in everyday life these days. Besides, there are BETTER things to worry about in this world, as someone already said

As Lussi bhai mentioned, one of the reasons desi guys want to marry a Pakistani girl is to maintain a connection with back home and the culture. If we just needed sex and good looks, goris and latins are WAY BETTER than fat desi girls if you are looking for those two features.

Sjikra bhai, Lussi bhai just bitched the ABCD girls ..called them loose etc..just in case you didn't notice :-D Now is that mature. As far as the connection is concerned..why don't U be the the connection for the ABCD girl who is interested in her roots?

i can't stand this whole fob and freshy thing.. i mean who came up w/ that. i cant understand y ppl automatically judge people just cuz they werent born in the states or uk or w/e. i mean they're human beings... give em a break. in fact my husband is a fob 2 n i luv him 2 death.

^ Thank you!

Fayz bhai Lussi bhai jokes around, don’t mind him :hehe: But the problem with most of the american born (as I’ve seen) is that since rest of their family is here and they don’t find the same amount of “freedom” back in pakistan, they don’t want to go back. Whereas guys, I’ve seen more america born guys willing to go back to Pakistan to visit and to see their relatives etc. There may be some exceptions but majority of the people I’ve met, girls born here don’t want to go back to even visit, but guys don’t have a problem with that.

That’s why I said guys want to have a connection and I could’ve included girls in that catagory too, but I haven’t come across any yet.
