Men and women started holding hands in the Dramas. Thats a big no no. I miss the old PTV days when there was a 4 inch air gap between men and women holding hands.

first ragon main andhera came out that starred rahat kazmi as the main police officer. it was liked so much that they started andhera ujala series with qavi khan as the main police officer.

Today's dramas representing society in today's age???? I hope that's not the case. Even if they are, they are only representing 10% of the Pakistani Population.
But then I guess I am spoiled because I grew up watching aangan terha, alpha bravo charlie, dhuwaan, tnahayaan, khawaja and sons, ankahi and a long list....
Those were the days and those were the dramas, then dish/cable culture penetrated pakistani society and all the aunties got addicted to Saas bhi kabhi bahu thi and ghar ghar ki kahani crap. As a reaction Pakistani dramas instead of maintaining their own identity followed what star plus and Zee TV was doing and ended up in the drain

no idea of links the story revolves around a cop out to get drug pushers in a very corrupt and dangerous environment he is kidnapped by the drug traffickers and made into a junkie as revenge and to kill his credibility with the authorities and then its his struggle catching these guys while struggling with his addiction and challenges with his own police force considering this was in the 80s with all the drug issues pakistan was having and the other dramas were fluffy lover fodder like an kahi and tanhaiyaan, this really was something else. I did not see it when it was on because i was not in pakistan but i rented and watched it later due to recommendations. you should be able to find cds at local stores.
that sounds like 24 season5.

I don't know why, but if I ever watch a pakistani drama I can't take it seriously. The situations are so overly unrealistic (example: a wife begs her husband to marry another woman as a second wife and when he does the second wife treats the first wife like **** but the first wife continues to be extra-dextra nice to the first wife and her in-laws.) They make the evil ones look completely heartless and the good ones are just saints...there isn;t a lot of moderation. Regardless, I think they're a waste of time and useless. I'd really like to HOPE and think that they do not reflect our Pakistani community! these drama's have so easily opened up the idea of boyfriend/girlfriend's, physical contact, the clothing and basically going against the pakistani culture and religion.
So untrue.. what drama is this? A lot of pakistani dramas are reflective of society problems with just a bit of spice to make them interesting. But most dont even need that spice, there is spice enough in life :P
