Pakistani dramas screening abroad

Being a massive fan of Pakistani dramas I was pleasantly surprised to read about a new channel being launched just for Pakistani dramas.

I think it’s great and hopefully more people will be able to watch these dramas. Not just in India but other places in subcontinent and abroad.

Pakistani Dramas take the Arab World by storm

My fav drama series include humsafar, zindagi gulzar hai and tanhayein. I found Bunty I love you to be interesting as well. So far me and my parents watch mostly humtv dramas because those are the ones we’ve heard about. I’ve watched the serials my Pakistani friends have recommended. I’m hoping to read about new and other dramas to look out for from the wise members here.

Re: Pakistani dramas screening abroad

Osman Khalilld butt posted news on his official fb page about aunn Zara being tele cast on z TV. They did a photo shoot for the promos. I wish they'd do a sequel of that drama. Lived the dad and phuphee track and also daadi

Re: Pakistani dramas screening abroad

wht I heard is zee tv valay launching a new channel on which only paki dramas will be telecasted and they want the same from pakistan

Re: Pakistani dramas screening abroad

Wow. Thanks for sharing.

I like this paragraph. :k:

“Humsafar has been a remarkable piece of entertainment and was also enjoyed by the Indian audiences when it went on air on the Indian channel, Rishtey. According to BizAsia, Humsafar managed to break a record for Rishtey for being the first non-film/event to attract such a huge rating at the weekend.”

Re: Pakistani dramas screening abroad

Thanks TS. I loved humsafar as well. Good entertainment is good entertainment regardless of origin. Pakistani songs are commonplace in India so why not dramas?
My Pakistani friend is looking for an Ashar type rishta. Lol. Perhaps GS can help me find one for her.

Re: Pakistani dramas screening abroad

I haven't heard of reverse but ho sakta hai. I don't think zee has well known dramas. Aap ke fav dramas konsay hain Jo aap recommend karengi ? What do you thinking bhool?

Re: Pakistani dramas screening abroad

I don't watch dramas , but I heard this thing recently after PM visit to india

Re: Pakistani dramas screening abroad

LOL. Unfortunately, Ashars are not commonplace. :hehe:

These days ARY plays are good. Two that I like are ‘Pyaaray Afzal’ and ‘Shakk’.

And if you explore some threads here, you will get some more information.

Re: Pakistani dramas screening abroad

Acha Api tell me what are your fav shows on Pakistani tv ? Any pearls of wisdom you want to share? Any past dramas you liked? I'm sure aap ko humsafar pasand aaya hoga.

Re: Pakistani dramas screening abroad

One can but hope. I guess Khirads are not as common either. I promised her if I do come across someone like that I will let her know  Thanks for the suggestions and i’ll definitely explore. My parents are addicted to hum tv dramas and have watched the old ones on youtube as well.

Re: Pakistani dramas screening abroad

Aun Zara is airing in the UK and I am quite enjoying it. My parents are really loving it however the time slots are not the best, it needs to be showing atleast 9pm, but so far so good.
