KARACHI: ‘Saving Face’ a documentary by Sharmeen Obaid Chinoy has received an Oscar nomination for best documentary, short subject.
The documentary is about a plastic surgeon that treats victims of acid attacks in Pakistan.
Prior to receiving the Oscar nomination, **Sharmeen Chinoy had won an International Emmy for her documentary ‘Pakistan’s Taliban Generation’ which focused on Taliban recruits. **
