Re: Pakistani Culture

pakistan mein kheton mein bohat kuch hota hai bas ziada saamney nahin aata...

what the artist wants to convey? That pakistani culture should be like that? And the crossed pictures means they aren't part of our culture?

Re: Pakistani Culture

Certainly, artist was conveying with obvious big red cross… That is Arab culture… :rule:

I heard about murders…

Re: Pakistani Culture

he meant original culture was as depicted with tick marks and now people are trying to follow culture (with cross marks) which is not the culture of land.

Re: Pakistani Culture

This is romance and this is not Pakistani culture but an allegedly aspect of the culture. Although stories of such couples are common but if you ask someone living in rural areas that whether it is followed s/he will tell that it is not followed. So upto literature, it might be a part of Pakistani culture but not practically.
its another story that things are changed due modernization and media influences.

Re: Pakistani Culture

You mean all these love stories are based on romanticism and fantasy. Can literature be created in vacuum?

The land which got caves of Ajanta might have been open society (whether we like it or not).

I don't like the way he has portrayed Pakistani culture. It does not start and end up with romance Pakistani culture has a lot more to offer.

Re: Pakistani Culture

Agree, but his emphasis is on dressing not the way people have been shown in intimacy.

Nahi I think he wanted to show both :hehe:

Re: Pakistani Culture

i think if his emphasis was only on romance, he didn’t have added Quaid e Azam and Fatima Jinah’s pics in the package.

Yes I noticed that too but there is a difference between those pics one can focus on Jinnah’s dressing but when you see other pics you loose that focus because in those pics romance is dominating the dressing part.
:hmmm:
