** Mr Some1**. Lots of people convert to Islam around the world everyday but you don’t see us rejoicing for that. We are happy for them too but not that ecstatic. We are however ecstatic about Yousuf Youhana because he is a person already loved by the whole nation. All of Pakistan loves him dearly, regardless of his religion. So when that loved one becomes muslim, it is only natural to be happy for him.
When something, goor or bad, happens to a loved one the emotions we feel are a bit higher than if that thing happened to someone else. If (for exampe) something really bad happens to your wife you will be deeply saddened. However if the same bad thing happens to someone that you heard on the news, you will not feel the same amout of emotion. Same goes for when good things happen to loved ones (in this case his conversion to Islam).
There might be things that make you happy. And there are things that make muslims happy. But calling us mullahs/extremists just because we are rejoicing someone’s entry into our religion is a bit out of taste.
Man I have a feeling, he was forced. Not physically forced...but to regain captaincy in the near future, he was probably implicated that he would have to be muslim. I mean why would someone make younis khan captain when inzimams out, and yousif youhana is still around. I don't like the sound and smell of that.
I wonder if he will get treated like shieeet if he goes back to christianity.
chaloo yarr, bass karo abb.......bhot ho gaya Yoyo-Nama..one thing we all agreed upon was the fact that it was between him and Allah...therefore, Allah Kay nam pay or Jesus Christ kay wastay, Yoyo ko akela chor do......Lets just leave him alone and pray that bhai Yoyo scores heavily against our old masters.....
ok heard enough, one thing, I know I had the same thoughts of being forced but why cant we accept that since we are born Muslims we never understood Islam, there are a lot of chrisitans who listen to the message of Islam and everything makes sense, who knows usuf mite be one of them
and the conversion didnt happen over nite 2 days ago, he converted 3 years ago when i dont think he was a captain or something considered
neways best of luck to him unis would be a better kaptaan in tests I think
That’s because you are a shmuck, my friend. A member of the team recently called him a “choora” for misfielding or something to that effect. You cannot take the peer pressure out of this equation. So instead of writing idiotic one liners, read the entire thread before you start a discussion.
WOOOOO! lol, i can feel the heat from all the a$$'s who just can't seem to accept some1 going from one religion and converting to islam... i guess cuz they havn't seen it the other way around? is that it.... ? or what?
Now I want one moderator to tell me that why did he delete my thread two years ago when I first put this here. This news was there on newspapers here, and YOYO was under pressure from players like Inzi ,to convert to Islam.
Every one know’s that you are a retard and a shmuck your self when it comes to circket and Shoaib Actor.
Do your mataam somewhere else on someone becoming a Muslim just like you did when your shoaib actor was kicked out of the team. You were running on GS boards like a chicken defending Shoaib Actor. And here you are again, crying out loud that why a Christian became a Muslim. …Pathetic.
Its Muslims like you who cut the throat of your own Muslim brothers and make their image even worst in front of the rest of the world. EVEN IF HE WAS pressured into it, to raise the image of your country you should defend him and raise the level of respect for Islam.
But instead of saying anything like that, people like you will actually tell the world something like this " Yo man, these MO-FO’s Pakistani’s pressured Yo-Yo into being a Muslim… They such ba$tards". Its a sad state for your self really when you are your self a Pakistani if not at least a Muslim ( Even if it is just by birth).
To be honest, when i first heard the news it occured to me that he might have done it to get a better of being a captain or something BUT later i felt ashamed of it, coz, i think its an insult to Yousuf to think that he would change his faith for temporary benefit. All those who are still say that he is forced shud respect the person.
*Once again, instead of presenting an argument, you go on and on and make no sense. Rewrite the post, and I shall get back to you. There was no mention of Shoaib Akhtar here; we are all discussing Youhana here.
P.S: I am a Muslim. It’s just that brainwashing someone into the religion is not the way to go. There is no coercion in Islam, is there?*
Saving a friend from the hell fire and pulling him towards salvation is seen as pressurizing.
We try our level best to prevent people from falling into destruction, and when when it comes to Akhirah, all we have to say is..."there is no coercion in religion."
I dont know how a person can watch a close one going into Hell, provided they believe they will be Resurrected and that Hell is real. Do you not know how many times the Prophet tried persuading his uncle Abu Talib to convert.
man I totally agree, sayin some1 coverted for temporary benefit of bein a captain is wrong, I say good for him he converted and we should all go to rest cuz when It comes to Islam we all come defendin it but how many of us actually are followin Islams ourselves, I mean defending Islam is always good but I mean to say is who are u to judge a man's character.
I just hope he was not forced into becomin a muslimbut if tema members talked to him regularly bout the message of Islam and he liked it and converted than its not terror and its his freedom to choose
and btw what the hell is "choora"
O I Get it now
Ok I will be very precise in asking. Please provide proof and NOT SPECULATION or your OWN imagination. Prove it by quoting any person either from Yousuf OWN family or any cricketer or ANY reputable figure for that matter. Quote me that person thinks that he is pressured into it. Don’t tell me that ‘** The Game’** Said it so bet it.
