I am just in the process of suing my lawyer for over half a million dollars for negligence and breach of fiduciary duties. I think I am quite capable of handling myself in court of law and have successfully represented myself in a law suite with a condo corporation for one of my rental properties. So thankfully I have won the one case I represented myself and the second one is ongoing, they are sending me letters to settle. I am currently preparing affidavit of records for that case. I will make a blog on it later. More people should take interest in law.In her case just forced marriage is enough to invoke battered women syndrome defence, I am not sure if she would win but could be a mitigating factor and anyone involved in forced marriage should be arrested.
