wunderkind, I dont agree, I think after indepdence, the best option for Kashmir is Pakistan. Atleast herei n Northern kashmir the army, police and government are all made up of local Kashmiris and not outsiders. example, Northern Light ifnantry(the main army force here) is madeup almost entierly of Kashmiris.

my brother has served in NLI(northern Lignt infantry). HE was in "keel" for over 2 years.

There are yanks burning and mutilating mujahids in NWFP with the connivance of the local authorities and the Pakistani government, the same mujahids who would have been prepared to lay down their lives to defend Pakistan against India.

thank you iconoclast for addressing the point that the butts and sheikhs and khawajas are also kashmiris. but perhaps we aren't according to the definition that they have in their dictionary.

umm butt's are kashmiris, but sheikhs???!?!? since when are the sheikhs kashmiris?
