Pakistani and Appreciation!

Why is it so tough for one pakistani to appreciate another pakistani?

why do people get jealous why cant you simply give a nice comment?

It doesnt hurt us to let someone else know they are looking good or they did one heck of a job etc.

But one pakistani to another… whats up with that?

*or is it me - may be i am being alittle emotional

Re: Pakistani and Appreciation!

The Pakistani's I have come across have been fine

Re: Pakistani and Appreciation!

No problem with any Pakistanis here.

Re: Pakistani and Appreciation!

im just pissed at this one aunt. everytime i went to her house she’d be like “oh tumhari kameez itni choteee kyun hai beta?” “yeh kaisa ajeeb sa golden bag hai” or “iss hairstyle mein tum PIA kii air-hostess lagg rahi ho”
today her daughter wears the same kameezes, carries the same bag and makes the same hair… :naraz:

Re: Pakistani and Appreciation!

queer - i appreciate my gujjo indian buddy - *hugz

lets get back to the topic

  • You go to desi gatherings and you will find aunties staring at you. Noticing everything you say or do but would never ever bother saying oh hun you look pretty instead- TUM ne kese kapre pehne hai , ho haai lipstick itni dark [just like shweetz mentioned]

  • now all of you men/little boys who replied above - when was the last timey ou appreciated someone?

Re: Pakistani and Appreciation!

:rotfl:
the best imitations of aunties :rotfl:

umm, yea - i think its more of a problem with girls rather than guys. I haven’t encountered myself, but have heard of such stories.

Then again, women need to gossip - so they will pick the new comer - or the one who “is different” (if you know what i mean).

Re: Pakistani and Appreciation!

..

haha i get that too

Re: Pakistani and Appreciation!

oh by the way another one -

acha beta bohot ho gaya parhai warhaai abh shadi karo and then on the other hand aj kaal ke bache parhate warhate nahee....

i have stop replying to them i get no where - but frustration

Re: Pakistani and Appreciation!

It is women thing nia, aunties are *****ey most of the time, but dont worry ! it will take some time before you would atain their class !

It is just by the passage of time you will become from Nia the chick to SaRrieyal Aunty Nia !!

We Guys always give and recieve compliments, and ofcourse I come across no nationality other than pakistanians

Hey Captain1  you are looking handsome in your uniform :k:

Re: Pakistani and Appreciation!

:omg:
classis quotes!.

btw, its **not **only pakistanies aunties. This attitude exists in some people (no specific race/ nationality required).

:rotfl:

Re: Pakistani and Appreciation!

my dads family is like that...they will do whatever it takes to make you look really littel and themselves look big...

Re: Pakistani and Appreciation!

the PIA stuff is the worst thing to sayyy....oh and my aunt always tells me "Diya why dont you eat sumthing"...like mind your own freaken businesssssssssssssssss

Re: Pakistani and Appreciation!

no you are absolutely right....there is a lot of jeolousy amongs Pakistanis overseas...but its more of a womens' thing..women love being jeolous and arrogant much more so than guys

Re: Pakistani and Appreciation!

i have yet to see a desi guy complimenting another desi guy (esp in front of his woman) that he considers competition.

Re: Pakistani and Appreciation!

:konfused:
someone has issues :whistling

Re: Pakistani and Appreciation!

:flower2:

The problem is (may be) we don’t appreciate other “guys” until and unless someone is REALLY wearing something good, but if we appreciate “girls” its taken as “flattering/flirting” and “nooked” :nook: by other people around

Thanks Codey, u look wonderful without that icon/avatar :k:

Re: Pakistani and Appreciation!

thats right
