Re: Pakistani-American to participate in 'Mrs World 2007' contest
This woman is anything but beautiful. Is this the best Pakisatn has to offer? Are Pakistanis so starved for good publicity/PR that they'd accept and cheer such an unlikely-to-win contestant to represent them? Such desperation, what a pity! If Pakistanis want representation in such contests, do it the proper way: have an all Pakisatn pageant and send Pakistan's best to Miss World or anyother pageant. Let's not do these things half-a$sed.
Re: Pakistani-American to participate in 'Mrs World 2007' contest
And btw...if she's a "Mrs."....how can she enter a "Miss" contest?
but all in all I have to agree with Fayz.....you gotta wonder about women that think participating in such competitions is following your dreams.....is that the best that she could dream?
and as a matter of concern....how many of her 3 kids are daughters?
No muzna.u r not alone.i think shes ugly to participate in such competition.Since she just hav a body to show so thats all she can do.
Re: Pakistani-American to participate in 'Mrs World 2007' contest
This is all whats required for this kind of competetion. FGS this is a Mrs. world contest and ofcourse the women with more kids and better figure will win.
Re: Pakistani-American to participate in 'Mrs World 2007' contest
I dont support the whole concept of pageants. Have you ever seen what happens to the women who lose pageants and what they do to themselves and say about themselves after? It's horrible.
Re: Pakistani-American to participate in 'Mrs World 2007' contest
I don't think Pakistan has anything to do with it. Its one individual and she has nominated herself as Mrs Pakistan. And as they say... beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder.
Personally speaking, I think there are more than a few women on Pakistani television who can win a beauty contest hands down compared to this lady or a few others who have arbitrarily attempted to represent Pakistan in beauty pageants previously.
By the way, if you look at some of the fashion shows that are organized in Pakistan, it seems many of our models and women have no problem parading in a pageant style setting. Donning bikinis in public may be the only thing holding them back now. I think all they need now is just a nod and a wink from the government, but thats not going to happen any time soon.

I wish someone gives these ppl who try to make a joke of pakistani culture a Big Slap on their faces by arranging peagnant shows with pakistan girls wearing traditional fully covered clothes n winning Ms Pakistan Titles n publishing pix all around the world.
Last time there was a Miss Afghanistan in bikini on front page of newspaper just to put muslim ppl heads down.
Re: Pakistani-American to participate in ‘Mrs World 2007’ contest
Guys don;t turn this thread in to a pakistanis-are-better-looking-than-indians thread, something that has been debated pretty much on a weekly basis here. lets just stick to discussing whether or not she has the right to participate as Miss Pakistan.
One thing that caught my attention at misspakistanworld.com was rule number 7.
If that is the case then how in the world did this girl get selected?
Re: Pakistani-American to participate in ‘Mrs World 2007’ contest
I am not protesting against that…problem is Pakistanis on this board are showing their nature, especially women. If men were calling this woman skanky, Hera mandi material and chastising on her comments…there would be a huge hoopla but women are doing it is all good and dandy.
I do not know what is wrong with our mentality that we want to promote our country via this. It seems that if our country has anything to offer to the western society in saying that we are advance it is this.
What happened to human rights? Children dying of hunger, there is thread in General where workers are being killed for giving polio vaccines, if we can provide security for them should be a good representation of Pakistan. To take this matter in such seriousness is ridiculous. This is not even a news, most of the major Pakistani newspapers do not care about it, average citizen is not aware of it. This is probably not even a side story, she felt like doing it…so what…just because there is a Pakistani strap on her…we are all up in arms?
Re: Pakistani-American to participate in 'Mrs World 2007' contest
Femme, you actually want to discuss what women have called her on this thread? They have done pretty well to degrade and relate her to a hera mandi girl.

Mods (femme and MWAP) don;t turn this thread in to a men are bad no women are worse thread, something that has been debated pretty much on a weekly basis here. lets just stick to discussing whether or not she has the right to participate as Miss Pakistan.

Hmm, if you're referring to me, I think I said Indian beauty queens dont look anything like Indians. Most of the population are dark, and they're all white skinned for a start. At least the beauty queens from Venezula have a slight tan like a lot of Venezaulans - even if they do go to beauty school and have surgery. The basic features could be Venezualan.
