I feel that all professions should be equally respected but in reality they are not equally respected especially in the Pakistani community.
See this is what bothers me. If you feel all professions should be respected, why does it mater to you whatever profession the person is?
Unless the wife is a stripper, why should what the "Pakistani community" thinks matter very much in making your dcision? It's just a lame excuse for being status conscious.
