Every society has both constructive and destructive tendencies. it depends which tendency is encouraged, lionized, and supported.
Right now, in Pakistan the tribal tendencies are being encouraged and supported by large swaths of people. And that's why uncouth tribals can get in highly protected areas and commit the horrendous act of suicide bombings.

I don't know which world you live in or where you get the info but I recently read about a survey which mentioned that suicide bombing "approval" has gone down to mere 5% or so in Pakistan... go ahead keep the rants going.

Actually that change is the only sliver of hope! Dare I say.
Suicidal attacks are just one of the many facets of tribal militancy.
The survey is not based 100% in tribal area. Yes in the cities of Indus plain, the support of suicides may have gone down. But the people of the plains are not commiting these heinous acts themselves. They just aid and abet the perpetrators.
I doubt that Morriot was suicide bombed by someone who was born and brought up in Islamabad. So the support in some areas of Pakistan may have gone down, but the tribal area remains the hotbed of terrorism.
Islamic militants from tribal area are still supported by the mosques and madrissahs of big cities.
Ordinary Pakistani, all thanks to his religious sentiments still aid and protect the suicide bombers in particular and uncouth tribal attitudes in general.

^ I am pretty sure the survey before this one also covered entire Pakistan and not just 100% FATA, so the relevancy of suicide-bombing-approval going down is a good sign IMO. Per last few surveys suicide-bombing-approval in entire Pakistan was higher compared to the latest survey.
There have been reports of people going from Punjab to Waziristan/Bajaur and returning as suicide bomber.

What is more disturbing is the information I got from my own sources that recruitment is being facilitated by the Pakistani security apparatus. The same thing happened in Kashmir, where infiltrators were being blamed to be blowing bridges etc.

Can you or anybody else tell me when the ‘FIRST’ suicide bombing occurred inside Pakistan? Since before 2004, the phenomena of was either not known or existed on Pakistani soil. It happened AFTER the so called ‘friendship trains’ between india and Pakistan were started. And AFTER US’s very first attacks on tribal areas of which majority of the common public was kept unaware by the great ‘dedicated to truth’ media of Pakistan. But Pakistani leadership wants to continue to ignore this fact. That’s what assures me that this land has been sold already by its’ leadership for further division by those causing this turmoil.
Here is something to prove my point but I would not be surprised if this is ignored by those in favor of eliminating tribal areas by BOMBING it:
A train coming from india into Pakistan territory contained bombs which exploded within the train killing 65. But do Pakistanis want to ignore the fact that there is something more about these ‘friendship trains’? Oh definitely, they are too busy admiring the bollywood ‘dances’ than investigate the matters. Or are they intentionally ignoring and want the Pakistani public to do the same while the ‘outer elements’ conveniently plan and cause destruction around us while our leadership dance to their tunes.

I totally agree with the above. Our uneducated, unprivileged masses are being trained by indian agents for being destructive through FAKE templets of QURAN. That’s what they have been doing. Why are they successfully able to? Because these people are UNEDUCATED, UNEMPLOYED, not aware of REAL Islamic education, principles. They are told, "Hey you gotta go do Jihad by killing others. You’ll have so much sawab. Would you agree? This Pakistani with no ambition in life goes, why not if THAT is what ‘Islam’ is.

I read somebody suggesting blocking borders btwn Afghanistan (CIA’s puppet government) / Pakistan. I suggest:
We block and put high level of security on borders btwn Afganistan / Pakistan.
Block india / Pakistan borders, put high level security to catch any intruders.
STOP this load of cr@p they call ‘friendship’ trains btwn the two countries.
Over all security and defense system be improved inside the country.
Execute the known indian agents such as altaf and fazla without providing them with another second to cause this destruction.
Continue the reconciliation with tribals as per, “Who gives up terrorism and willing to live as a peaceful Pakistani national will not be harmed.” I am sure with this option given, there will not be many left from tribals who wish to wage war, except for the trained terrorists of Fazla’s, altaf’s (indian agents) and baitul mehsud’s (CIA agent) terrorists teams.
Thoroughly but SANEFULLY utilize the investigation services to cleanse our country from these ‘foreign agents’ who are training Pakistan’s uneducated, ambition-less, unemployed or mentally unstable masses with much convenience while our FIA, ISI, IB and rest of the other intelligence agencies are lost enjoying and admiring bollywood’s families dancing naked together.
I am so sure these agencies can do so much better but they are either too ignorant of what’s going on in the surroundings around them (cz they are lost in bollywood) or they just do not give a fcuk about what’s going on around them (cz they wanna remain lost in the life of 'aish o aiyashi’).
What they need to know is while they focus so much on bad bad destructive tribals (whose aggression was unheard of before 2004), they NEED to also focus cleansing out the country with these destructive GUNDD exported into Pakistan by ‘the neighbours’ (CIA’s puppet government and india) through borders, ‘friendship trains’, etc.
What they need to realise is that all who smile at you are not necessarily your ‘friends’.
Our leadership has to put an end to further being fooled by the ‘friendship’ gestures and ‘assumed’ efforts of ‘peace’ btwn the two countries.

Some say there is another dimension to this development. If you look at Pakistan's map, Indus Highway, which is NATO/ISAF supply line, passes through DG Khan and Bahawalpur (in fact the whole southern Punjab)that are the main recuitment centers. They are also in close proximity to Waziristan, Zhob, Loralai, etc.
Indus Highway can be cut off anytime with this strategy....not only in NWFP+FATA but also southern Punjab.
There is only one grand plan in Pakistan. That happens to be of Al Qaida inspired anarchy just like in Afghanistan, and Somalia etc. And Pakistanis are "smart" enough tribals to just follow that grand plan with their eyes wide shut.

Anyone who has iota of knowledge about Pak Afghan border knows that Indians my have a consulate there, but Islamist Pashtun won't go ga-ga on them. FYI Hindus are close to Uzbek, Tajik, (Northern Alliance) and ex-communist neo-NATO Pashtuns. And I bet you bottom dollar that these groups won't do suicide bombing while reciting scared words.
Islamist Pashtuns on the other hand won't touch a Hindu with 10 foot pole, and you are trying to spin this theory of yours. And these very Islamists are doing the terror bombings. The only group that Islamist Pashtun admire is the Wahabi Arab group.
India is no friend of hours. But this is pure madness to rope in Indians with the Islamist Jihadis.
