TTP can not reach entire Pakistan, not my assessment, but CFR. I am not going to comment on the rest.
Pakistan is going no where. It is here to stay for a very noble purpose. Pessimism is Sin!
Be optimistic even when its bad.... Yes there are a lot of problems to deal with.
What is hard for me is to digest your stupid analysis.
You gave the example of Turkey. It seems prosperous but its society is riddled with contradictions. Its just that they are in a different time frame and the fate of all so called Muslim countries is not far away. Pakistan is not the only one... we have countless examples of fake, carved un-natural states. Turkey has Kurds and Turkish nationalism will not keep it intact for long. They are fine at present because they have a role to play in the Western agenda.... and their secular elite is playing that role well.
So do not compare Pakistan to Turkey. In fact even with all problems and differences we treat none of our ethnic groups like they treat Kurds. Wake up to reality!
Lastly, you talked of religion in society. Where is religion in Pakistani society??? You cannot call half-baked, government sponsored and promoted sectarianism as Islam. Islam was never implemented in our society. Even the repressive regimes such as that of Saudi Arabia have peace in their societies. We are unlucky we have such bad leaders and our social fabric of society (more than 70%) not the cities where we belonged, comprises land-lords and their subservient masses unaware of any civic sense, religion and a way of life that has FREEDOM!!
So take a chill pill..... We have seen even worse times... at that time maybe our leaders had not sold out so cheaply like they have done today.

And yes, when we are in trouble, ask Allah for help instead of just giving up... I know prayer only will not take us anywhere, but at least start and pray with all sincerity. Surely HE has all powers and in His command are all our affairs.... You forget Him and HE forgets you ... and we end up in the mess we have created for ourselves.
I am sure by thinking positively we may end up doing some good for our country than just spreading more pessimism. We have not lost yet and you with your worthless analysis are doing no service to Pakistan!

I wholeheartedly support your statements. Too many people willing to bail on Pakistan. What country does not have problems? While some of our problems are of our making, inshallah we will emerge stronger after purging the destructive elements in Pakistan.

Well...i am optimist amidst all this pessimism...i believe if pakistan somehow crawls out of this crisis (the biggest since its inception) then it will start moving towards a nation country...nations born out of crisises...

In regards to this TTP movement, the best way to engage is to disengage from this war on terror which has brought us nothing but misery and shame. What did we get for being the American rent-a-soldiers in the region? The rise of an indegeniosu taliban movement, drone attacks, displacement of FATA residents, sancturies for militants, attacks in our major cities.
You people fail to realize that the root cause is the occupation of Afghanistan by the Amriki/NATO forces, the fact that Pakistan is actively supporting the effort has caused us SEVERE blowback. I am not calling for another about face (something that the beghairat Pakistani governments are used to) but rather a disengagement from the war on terror. Let NATO supply lines run through Central Asia, let them battle the Taliban insurgency in Afghanistan. In regards to the internal disruptions, we must remove the foreign miscreants (Arabs, Uzbeks etc) from FATA with the cooperation of the militias. As for the militias including TTP, we MUST reorient them towards the external threats including Afghanistan, Kashmir. This reorientation will allow us to transform these fighters into the Hezbollah styled arms of Pakistan. We must reclaim FATA+Pakhtunkhwa and stop the bleeding...this is the most appropriate pathway.

I think so to.. But to get out of this will mean the loss of many lives.

and why would USA and India be funding these tribals?
USA does not want to see Pakistan become a failed state like Somalia with its nuclear weapons and large territory become a breeding ground for terrorists
