why we should when we can meet jihadis on our own ground.
ratio will be in our favor when we fight them on our own terms and terrain. offensive cost more than defesive operations.
let them keep coming we can pick them off one at a time.

i agree there should be complete silence between us and leave things as they are.
this is a good commentary about india-pakistan
This is an important moment. The two extremes in both countries are irrational and illogical, living off a polarisation which if it erupts will destroy what they claim to preserve. There must be a different way forward that people on both sides, and of all religions, can agree upon. It needs concessions and, just as important, the respect and restraint which stops the fanatics from greeting any such moves as weaknesses that can be exploited. Pakistanis need to accept that Muslims can live in India and regard themselves as Indian without this being treason. Hindus need to accept that Pakistan is here to stay and has every right to do so. Neither need to ‘prove’ themselves in Kashmir or turn it into their battleground. Otherwise… we will all go together when we go, as radiation respects no gods and its lethal half-life will outlast that of any human faith.

Musharraf denies wanting to nuke India
PTI SATURDAY, JANUARY 04, 2003 12:18:29 AM ]
ISLAMABAD: Pakistan President General Pervez Musharraf on Friday denied he has ever threatened to launch a nuclear strike on India if it attacked Pakistan and blamed the media for “malicious” reporting.
Stating that the media has misquoted him about his remarks over the “unconventional” war with India during the recent military stand-off, he said his remarks at a function of Air Force officials in Karachi were “distorted.”
“This is a distortion and I have been misquoted. No one in his right state of mind can talk of a nuclear war,” he said while attending a function here on Friday.
Early this week, reports from Karachi quoted Musharraf as telling a meeting of Airforce officials in Karachi that he talked of the possibility of nuclear conflict with India and sent a private message in this regard.
Musharraf said he was, in fact, talking in the context of Kashmir and had said that if any one tried to cross the Line of Control (LoC), then there would be a guerilla warfare.
He said a “freedom struggle” was on in Jammu and Kashmir and if India tried to cross the LoC there were 150,000 retired military personnel in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir who would have surrounded the Indian troops.
Stating that it was “unfortunate” that his remarks made in the context of Kashmir were “distorted”, Musharraf said “malicious intent” was behind the “twisting” of his comments on such an important issue
“Let this (nuclear) not be misquoted (again),” he said.
Musharraf’s earlier remarks were strongly condemned by India and came under fire at home and abroad.
Im many of circumstances President of pakistan Musharraf has behaved like a fourth class employ.
Nothing wrong if he is the next after Saddam…

US Congressman flays Musharraf’s war rhetoric
Press Trust of India
Washington, January 4: US Congressman Frank Pallone has deplored Pakistani President Pervez Musharraf’s war rhetoric saying it did not seem to “bode well for diplomacy” between India and Pakistan,
On the other hand, Pallone praised Prime Minister Mir Zafrullah Khan Jamali for his “encouraging statements” and urged him to forge good relations with India.
He said there was a freedom struggle in the Indian Held Kashmir and if they (India) tried to cross the LoC there were 150,000 retired military personnel in AJK who would have surrounded any invading enemy troops, he added.
Is it believable that the press has distorted this straight forward comment as nuclear threat? And are these 150,000 retired personnel living in AJK in the guise of local Kashmiris (as usual) ![]()
Yeah Man, this kinda BS always from The Times of India amuses you, no wonder. ![]()
Unfortunately for you, TOI is not Yawn of Dung. And double unfortunately for you is that the quote I have taken is not from Times of India but from The Nation. Here it is from horse’s mouth : -

RAWALPINDI (APP) – President General Pervez Musharraf Friday clarified media reports which misquoted him about his remarks over the “unconventional” war with India during the recent military stand off and termed it as “malicious”.
The reports suggested that President, while speaking with troops earlier this week, talked of the possibility of nuclear conflict with India.
“This is a distortion and I have been misquoted,” said the President while talking to this agency after the 3rd Post-Graduate Convocation of NUST.
“No one in his right state of mind can talk of a nuclear war,” the President emphasised.
The President stated that he was in fact talking in context of Kashmir and had said that if any one tried to cross the Line of Control (LoC), then there would be a guerilla warfare.
He said there was a freedom struggle in the Indian Held Kashmir and if they (India) tried to cross the LoC there were 150,000 retired military personnel in AJK who would have surrounded any invading enemy troops, he added.
Yes, the Nation, which said also hundreds of Pakistanis were arrested in L.A. recently, the story that never happened. :hehe:
Unfortunately for you, keep replying me. :rotfl:

If the Nation prints it, not my fault. Kindly note it is not The Nation’s own correspondent but a news items picked up from APP (if you know the difference).
And I keep replying to you because you keep on posting comments on my posts and hence at least warrant a reply. Though I prefer not to get trapped into a useless discussion with you because of your high “Aankhon ki Rekha”. ![]()

Believing BS is not your fault. ![]()

Dude,
Where's the word Nuke/Nuclear? This is what Musharraf said:
I personally conveyed messages to (Indian) Prime Minister Vajpayee through every international leader who came to Pakistan, that if Indian troops moved a single step across the international border or Line of Control, they should not expect a conventional war from Pakistan
Where did Musharraf implied use of Nucelar Weapons?
You did not reply to my full comment. The portion you chose to ignore is : - Kindly note it is not The Nation’s own correspondent but a news items picked up from APP (if you know the difference).
Though I am sure you do not know the difference. ![]()
