lesser the stipulated overs in the match, harder will be the Pakistan's minimm requirement.
What amazes me Match Referre haven't called the game off.
Umpires were quick to do in yesterday's match b/w SA and SL.
Think
lets see if we can even get to 180...

in 25 overs?? well thats going to be a god score then.
It was 38 over match about an hour ago. Now it will be much less than that if it gets re-started.
I can't see more than a 25 over game at most - and i doubt that.

we have to win by a margin of 180. But i guess now its different because of changes in the no. of overs.
If the game is lost for one hour 6 overs would be deducted from each side!

that was the equation for 50 overs!
Guess what, as Umpires came to the ground, rain started again. ![]()
I don’t see this match is gonna happen. Chances of Zimbabwe are likely to proceed to Super Sixes.
We can’t beat the nature. ![]()
Rain has stopped play and this might be the end of the pakistani dream of wc 2003.
Personally, I feel this is rubbish as zim, Ken have qualified, whereas teams like SA, Pak, Eng and WI are sitting out. But, I think the blame lies with teams like Eng and NZ who boycotted their matches and gifted points to these teams.
On the other hand, Pak (Lost of Eng, Aus and India) and SA (Lost to WI and NZ) did not play their best games in the WC, as none of them could beat a better team of the pool.
I hope the qualifiers in the super sixes will be able to provide some good entertainment in future games.
Seems to me like an India Vs Aus or India Vs SL final.
so lets just assume we have 25 overs to play, how much runs we need then?
they can’t just dropped this whole match cuz of rain, could they?
what are the possible chances we have left? ![]()
What a horriable day it's been , No chance of Pak going through to super six now :-(
** The game has just been abandoned. Pakistan and England are out and Zimbabwe is through to the super six. **
Bah! ![]()
Kind of a fitting end to a tournament which has turned out to be a damp squib.
so here we have the super six line up:
AUSTRALIA
ZIMBABWE
INDIA
SRI LANKA
NEW ZEALAND
KENYA
:(
%&$*^&$!!!
STOOPID RAIN! ![]()
