I always supported Misbah but now I must say he is the reasons of Pakistani ODI Cricket team Disaster. NZ changed their captain even Vettori was showing tremendous performance then other players but BAZ aggression really changed the entire team. A sad ending of Misbah and Younis

Bring Azhar Ali, Fawad Alam and Sarfraz Ahmad in Team. Hafeez is the most suitable player as captain or bring Sarfraz in team and make him captain as he is already captaining his side in domestic cricket.

Hafeez as all rounder is great but hafeez as batter only is no good for our team specailly in Aus tracks

This team lost self belief hence bowlig attack of Zim is looking like holding or garner..
We need fresh players with fresh mind and given free hand of 3 series than ask for results.

uncle, i am not specifically criticizing you. my comment was in general. i did read your post and i know what i am saying. if you want sarfraz in, he cannot open the innings on these pitches. not fair to him and not fair to the team. he is not an opener by any means and will not handle the new ball on these pitches. dead uae pitches are different.
Given how bad our batting is, you cannot afford opening with sarfraz. he will need to play below and if that is the case, umar akmal needs to be dropped. That sarfraz will score more than jamshed or any other regular opener is just a thought. if you have to make a strategy, then you still need to bet on a regular opener in these conditions. better question would be, why did we send jamshed to this tour instead of some other opener but thinking sarfraz can somehow open in aus does not make sense strategically.
on principal your point is right but you have to make best use of resources of what you have. If Sarfaraz is playing instead of Jamshed, you are probably gonna get few more runs, a very positive outlook AND a proper keeper.

no brainer for you but not for everyone......opening with sarfraz is not a good use of your resources at all... it is actually misuse of your resources..your regular openers are struggling...mind you, not only jamshed but shezad is also struggling...younis khan is struggling..these are specialist players with new ball
and you want sarfraz to open? is it fair to the poor guy? or to pakistan..fine he will get 10 more runs than jamshed, but is it the right strategy?
like i said, if you want to replace jasmhed and you dont have any other opener, let akmal open who is much better player technically than sarfraz. sarfraz shd come down the order when the ball is old. thx
