Pakistan hitting the bottom of the table in Pool B, yet to play convincingly and more importantly to win a game of Cricket @ this WC sofar.
Zimbabwe have sofar started better with a win over UAE but were smashed to all parts by Gayle and Samuels. Though they’ve proved to be good with the bat scoring at a brisk pace and well above 270 in both matches.
Pakistan have yet to cross the 250 runs mark and given a depleted and inexperienced bowling attack this might prove not to be enough to test the Zimbabwe batting. Further incidents/news off the field have created an atmosphere of anger, disappointment, haplessness if not outright resignation that this team may not make it to the QF.
Zimbabwe have in Dav Whatmore a coach who knows asian teams inside out and having been Pakistan head coach not so long ago he’ll be in the best position to advise his pupils about the weaknesses of the Pakistan team, of which ofcourse there are plenty at the moment

I'm in half a mind to join the camp that says Pak should lose all their matches to expose how corrupt the pcb is. And that politics, not talent, get players a spot. I hope at least that comes to fruition and we can scrap most of the team and start with some young fresh talent as I'm sure is there. Everyone I speak to here says there is an unbelievable amount of talent, just that the scouting system is terrible, and ultimately, lots of politics determine who will play. So pathetic. The way we played so far, has definitely been amongst the worst side we have put up in a WC.
